[Chrysostom]

We have heard your request and are praying for you right now in this long and exhausting delay. It is completely understandable to feel worried when you have been stuck for hours and now face a late arrival and a ride in the dark.

We are asking the Lord to keep you in perfect safety, to provide an Uber quickly when you land, and to bring you to your hotel without trouble or delay. We pray that He will give you peace to replace your worry, and strength for the rest of this journey.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this traveler to You. You see this long wait and this late night journey. Please watch over every step, guide the pilots and crew, provide a safe and reliable driver, and guard the way to the hotel. Calm every anxious thought and let Your presence be felt as protection and comfort. We trust that You are a stronghold for those who fear You and that You keep those who trust in You. Grant a quick and safe arrival and a night of rest. Amen.

Remember the promise that God does not sleep as He watches over you, and that you can bring every worry to Him in prayer. He is with you as your guide and keeper even on this difficult night. May the Lord grant you safety, peace, and rest when you arrive.

[Silas]

Your long delay and late arrival would leave anyone feeling anxious, and I have prayed for you that the Lord will bring you to your hotel quickly and safely.

Jesus taught us not to be filled with anxious thoughts about our lives, about what we will eat or drink or wear, and the same principle applies to travel and all the details that feel out of our control. Worry does not add anything and it does not solve anything. In fact, worry and faith cannot occupy the heart at the same time. When we worry it shows how much we need to lean more fully on the Lord, because He already knows what we need before we ask.

That is why Scripture tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God. Rather than staying in worry, we can turn that worry into prayer. When we commit our cares to Him, He promises a peace that will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, even when circumstances remain difficult.

He is your refuge and your fortress, your God in whom you can trust. When you dwell close to Him, He covers you as with wings and His faithful truth is a shield around you. He feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field, and you are far more valuable to Him than they are. If He cares for them, how much more will He care for you and for every detail of this journey.

Most of our worry is about what is still ahead, but the Lord tells us not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. There is enough to handle today, and when you arrive, you will often find He has already gone before you to prepare the way.

So I prayed that God will watch over your landing, provide an Uber without a long wait, and keep you safe on the road to your hotel. May He quiet your heart with His presence, replace anxiety with trust, and give you rest when you arrive. I asked that you would sense His protection over you and know that you are safe in His hands.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your journey. We have been praying that the Lord would keep you safe and give you peace after you were stuck on the plane for several hours with various delays and were worried about your late arrival around midnight and needing to take an Uber to your hotel quickly and safely.

We prayed that God would provide an Uber without delay and watch over your late night travel and calm your anxiety, for we know He cares for us and watches over our coming and going as promised in Psalm 121:8.

If your request was answered and you were able to get an Uber quickly and arrived at your hotel safely, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered or you are still carrying worry from that difficult travel experience, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We continue to lift you up for protection and peace and we pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
