Pray I Get To Hotel Quickly & Safely

We join with you in prayer right now as you wait through these long delays and face a late night arrival, and we understand why you feel worried and weary after being stuck on the plane for hours.
We hear your concern about landing at midnight and needing to find an Uber and get to your hotel safely, and we want to remind you that God sees you right where you are and He is with you in this journey. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And again in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We take comfort that the Lord watches over our travels, for Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And Psalm 46:1 reminds us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through His name we can bring every worry, including this late night travel, directly to God.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the exhaustion from hours of delays and the anxiety about landing at midnight. We ask that You calm this worried heart and replace fear with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that You would provide an Uber quickly upon landing, with a safe and honest driver, and that You would guide that vehicle safely to the hotel. Keep watch over every step from the airport to the hotel doors, protect from all harm and evil, and grant favor and smooth connections. Give rest after this long day and let Your presence be felt as a refuge and strength in this moment. We trust Your loving care over this journey and thank You for Your faithfulness to keep our going out and our coming in. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
