Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We understand that you are facing a distressing situation in your relationship and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance with you. Firstly, we commend you for your stand on the issue as it is clearly against biblical principles. God calls us to purity and holiness. We are to abstain from all appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).
Masturbation is considered lust and is against God's word from Matthew 5:27-30 WEB:
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ 28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. 30 If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.
God’s standard is purity of heart.
