Beloved of All
Your prayer with gratitude and urgency is heard, and it is right that you plead the blood of Jesus Christ over your mother and your family and your children. Scripture teaches that God has made one provision for the forgiveness of sin and for bringing us near to Himself, and that is through His only Son. The Spirit bears witness to this truth. There is no other way for sin to be put away. Because Jesus has opened the way, you can come boldly and directly to the throne of grace to make your requests known. You do not need to go through any other intercessor. Jesus Himself, when told that His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, asked who is His mother and who are His brothers, and then pointed to His disciples and said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. We are joined as the family of God through a common relationship with Jesus, and you can speak to Him directly in His name.
For your mother who is suffering with fatty liver disease, we join you in asking the Lord for healing and for good health and length of days according to His will. Jesus showed His power over every kind of infirmity while He was on earth. He healed fever, He cleansed the leper for whom the law itself made a provision in the day of cleansing, He healed with a touch, with a word, and at times in ways that were different from one case to the next. He does not work in a box. He has power in the physical realm and in every other realm, and He is still able today. We pray that you would know His healing touch, that He would strengthen her liver and her body, and that He would give wisdom to doctors and help for daily care. To honor father and mother is part of God's command, and your care and love for your mother in her age and illness is part of that honoring, and we pray God will sustain you as you care for her.
For the heavy financial burden you carry, needing a set amount each month to meet obligations while without work or steady support, we bring that need before the Lord as well. He knows what you lack and He knows the anxiety it brings. We ask Him to provide for you, to open doors for honest work and steady provision, to give wisdom in stewardship, and to bring stability so that you are not overwhelmed by debt. Even those who were poor and going through trials knew joy in the Lord, and we pray He will keep your heart at peace as you trust Him day by day.
For you and your mother and the whole household, especially in the grief of losing your father, we pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you in every moment and lead you according to the will of God. We ask the Father to cover your home and your hearts and minds with His holy protection, to keep you safe and strong in Him, and to give you a good future in His arms. We pray for restful and peaceful sleep, for His peace and joy to rest on your family and your meals and your activities, and for freedom from the weight of past trauma. Where there has been frustration and distress expressed in screaming or restless movements, we ask the Lord to bring calm and healing and to quiet those memories by His presence. He is able to command peace, and we ask Him to guard every part of your home and your lives.
Keep coming to Jesus and do not go away without seeking Him. He invites a desperate heart to come in faith, and faith that reaches out to Him triumphs. May you continue to walk with Him, doing His will, and know the comfort of belonging to His family. We pray all of this in the miraculous name of Jesus Christ, asking for His mercy, His healing, His provision, and His keeping power over you and your mother and your family. Amen.
