Beloved of All
Your prayers have been heard and your trust in coming directly to Jesus is right and good. There is only one provision God has made for forgiveness and for putting away sin and guilt, and that is through the blood of His only Son. It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and we are invited to come boldly to the throne of grace to make our requests known because He has opened the way. The Spirit bears witness to this truth, and there is no other mediator we need to seek.
I join you in praying for your mother and her liver condition. The Scriptures show Jesus healing many kinds of sickness. He lifted Peter's wife's mother when she lay sick with fever and the fever left her. He cleansed the leper for whom the law itself made provision for a day of cleansing, showing that God leaves room to work as He desires. He healed the centurion's servant and multitudes who were brought to Him in the evening, and those who touched even the hem of His garment found that touch became a point where faith was released to receive from Him. He still has power in the physical realm over infirmities and sickness, and He is able to touch your mother's body, to bring healing to her liver, to give her good health and length of days according to His mercy and will. We do not put God in a box or demand He work in only one way, for He has healed in many different ways. We also recognize that not everyone is healed in this life as we ask, and when healing does not come as we hope it is wrong to say it is because of a lack of faith or hidden sin. We simply keep bringing the need to Jesus, trusting His wisdom and love, and asking Him to work as He desires.
You also honor your mother in the way you care for her and pray for her, and that is pleasing to God who commanded us to honor father and mother. In the practical sense this has always meant to care for them, to provide for them and to stand with them, especially in older age and in seasons of loss. I grieve with you over your father's passing and pray that God will strengthen you, your mother and your family, and keep you safe and strong in Him. Jesus taught that His true family are those who do the will of God, those who walk with Him and are bonded together through a common relationship with Him. You do not need to go through another to reach Him. You can go directly to Him yourself, and He hears you as His own.
For your financial burden, I pray with you. God knows you need provision each month to meet your obligations and that you are without work and without steady support at this time. He knows the weight this places on your home. I ask Him to guide you and your mother in every moment by His Holy Spirit, to lead you according to His will, to open doors for honest work and steady provision, and to give you wisdom for each step toward stability.
For your home and your nights, I pray that God will cover your family, your hearts and your minds with His holy protection and peace. May He guard every room and give you rest that is truly peaceful and relaxed. May His peace guard your hearts and bring joy and satisfaction to your time together. I ask Him to lift the weight of past trauma and to quiet the frustration and distress that has marked your family life, including the screaming and restlessness you described, and to replace it with calm and gentleness. Like the desperate mother who would not go away until she received from Jesus for her child, keep coming to Him and do not turn away until you have received His help in His time and way.
