Pray formy mom good health and long life and pray for our family

Your heartfelt prayers have been read with care and compassion. Thank you for bringing your mother, your family, and your home before the Lord with both gratitude and urgency. The loss of your father, the concern for your mother's health, the weight of financial pressure, and the longing for peace in your home are heavy burdens, and it is right to bring them directly to Jesus.

Scripture teaches that God has made only one provision for the forgiveness of sin and for access into His presence, and that provision is through His only begotten Son. It is by the blood of Jesus Christ that sin and guilt are put away, and the Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth. Because Jesus has opened the way, you do not need any other mediator or intercessor. You can come boldly to the throne of grace yourself to make your requests known. When people once told Jesus that His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, He asked, who is my mother and who are my brothers, and then pointed to His disciples and said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. In Christ we become the family of God, bonded together through a common relationship with Him. That is an encouragement for you, that in your loneliness and need you can come straight to Jesus, and you belong to Him as His own.

You asked for prayer for your mother's healing from fatty liver disease and for a long and healthy life. The Gospels show Jesus healing many kinds of sickness. He lifted Peter's wife's mother from a fever so that she could rise and serve, He cleansed a leper for whom there was no other cure, He healed the servant of a centurion, and in the evenings multitudes were brought to Him who were sick or troubled by evil spirits and He healed them. He showed power over the body, over the material world when He calmed wind and sea, and over the spiritual realm. He did not heal everyone in the same way. Sometimes He spoke a word, sometimes He touched, sometimes He used other means, and He often told people simply to go and show what God had done. God has left room to work as He desires, and He is still able to heal today. The Scripture also teaches that elders should pray for the sick, and that prayer offered in faith is precious to God. At the same time, not everyone is healed in this life, and when healing does not come it is wrong to say it is always because of sin or lack of faith. We do not know all the reasons, but we know God is wise and loving. So we pray for your mother with faith, asking God for mercy, for restoration of her liver, for strength and for many more years, and we trust the outcome to His perfect will, asking Him to give wisdom to doctors and to sustain you as you honor your mother by caring for her. To honor father and mother includes caring for them in their age and need, just as they once cared for you, and God sees and honors that love.

You also shared the burden of debt and the need for a steady income to meet monthly obligations while without work. God knows your need. He invites you to bring your financial cares to Him, to ask for provision, for open doors for honest work, for wisdom in stewardship, and for contentment and trust as He leads. Pray that He will guide you according to His will, that He will provide what is needed each day, and that He will make you stable and able to meet your responsibilities.

You asked for guidance, for the help of the Holy Spirit, for strength after your father's passing, and for a good future in God's hands. God promises to guide those who seek to do His will and to be near to those who grieve. He can strengthen you and your mother and keep you safe and strong in Him. As you walk with Jesus and seek to do what pleases Him, you remain close to Him as part of His family.

You also prayed for protection over your family, your home, your hearts and minds, for peaceful and restful sleep, for joy at your meals and in your daily activities, and for deliverance from past trauma, frustration, and distressing behaviors in the home. The Lord is your refuge. He can guard your hearts and minds with His peace, and He commands His care over His people. We ask Him to cover your home with His holy protection, to give you quiet and restful sleep, to bring peace and satisfaction to your family life, and to gently heal memories of trauma. Where there has been screaming and agitation, ask Him to bring calm and self control and to replace fear with His comfort.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come boldly to Your throne of grace. Thank You for Your love and for the one provision You have made for our forgiveness through the blood of Your Son. We ask You to be merciful to this family. Lay Your healing hand upon this dear mother. You know her liver and her body completely. We ask for healing, for good health, and for length of days according to Your will. Give wisdom to those who care for her and strength to her children as they honor her. Provide for this family financially. You see their debts and their need for work. Open the right doors, grant provision and stability, and teach them to trust You day by day. Pour out Your Holy Spirit to guide them moment by moment, to lead them in Your will and to keep them close to Jesus. Comfort them in the loss of their father, and be their strength. Keep their home and their hearts and minds in Your peace. Guard every part of their dwelling and give them restful sleep and joyful fellowship together. Take away the power of past trauma and bring healing, patience, and calm to their lives. May they prosper in knowing You and in walking with You, and may their future rest securely in Your hands. We ask this in the miraculous and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.
