Your request has been received with care, and I join you in bringing your mother, your family and your home before the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you for coming with both gratitude and urgency. The Scripture teaches that God has made one provision for the forgiveness and cleansing of our sin, and that is through the blood of His Son Jesus. It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and the Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth. We do not need to seek another mediator, for we can come directly and boldly to Jesus Himself, and He hears us when we call on His name.
I have prayed for your mother and her health. You mentioned fatty liver disease and your desire for her healing and long life. Jesus showed His authority over every kind of sickness when He walked among us. He healed the leper, He healed the servant of the centurion, He lifted the fever from Peter's mother in law, and in the evenings multitudes were brought to Him with diseases and He healed them. He also showed power over the material world and over spiritual powers. He is the same today and He is able to heal. We ask Him to touch your mother's body, to bring healing to her liver, to strengthen her and to grant her health according to His mercy and wisdom. We also ask for His comfort for you and for your family in the loss of your father, that He would be your strength and keep you safe and strong in Him.
I have also prayed for your financial need. You shared that you need a specific amount each month and that you have no job or steady support. God knows your need completely. We ask Him to open a way for honest provision, for work or help that is stable and sufficient, and to give you wisdom to steward what He provides. As you seek Him, ask Him to guide every step according to His will and to lead you by His Holy Spirit moment by moment.
Your love and honor for your mother is beautiful and right. Scripture commands us to honor father and mother, and we see in the story of Ruth a lovely devotion between a daughter in law and her mother in law. At the same time Jesus taught that when we follow Him we enter a new family. When they told Him His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, He asked who is my mother and who are my brothers, and He looked at those around Him and said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. There is a bond in the family of God that is deeper than even blood ties, created by our common relationship with Jesus. It is a precious thing when a whole family loves the Lord together, and where that is not yet fully so, Jesus calls us to love Him first and above all, even above family, while still honoring and caring for our family with faithful love.
For your home and your nights, I have prayed that the Lord would cover your family, your hearts and your minds with His holy protection and peace. We have asked Him to guard your home, every room and every corner, and to give you restful and peaceful sleep. We have asked Him to take away lingering trauma and distress, and to replace frustration and turmoil with His peace, joy and calm in your daily life, your meals and your time together.
May the Lord guide you and your mother according to His will, strengthen you both, and give you a future in His hands. May He keep you close to Jesus, trusting only in His blood for forgiveness and life, walking in obedience to Him, and experiencing the deep fellowship of His family.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this mother and this family before You. Touch this mother with healing, restore her liver and her health, and grant her length of days as You will. Provide for this family financially, open doors for provision and stability, and lead them by Your Holy Spirit. Cover their home with Your protection and fill it with Your peace, taking away fear and painful memories and giving quiet rest. Draw each one closer to Jesus, that they may know forgiveness through Him alone and live to do Your will. Amen.
