Your prayer has been heard and I join you in lifting your mother, yourself and your whole family before the Lord Jesus Christ with gratitude and with urgency.

We bring your mother before the Almighty who is our healer. We ask Him to have mercy on her, to touch her liver and her whole body, to give wisdom to those who care for her medically, and to grant her good health and length of days according to His gracious will. We pray that she will be strengthened in body and in faith, and that you also will be strengthened as you care for her. The Scripture teaches us to care for the body for health and for service to God, not for excess, so we ask for discipline and help to use the means God has given, good food, rest and faithful medical care, trusting Him for the outcome.

We also bring your financial burden before the Father who knows our needs. You have shared that you need a set amount each month to meet your obligations and that you are without work and without support, and that your father is now with the Lord. We ask God to open a way for honest work, to give you wisdom in stewardship, to provide for your daily bread and to make you stable and generous as He wills. We pray not only for provision but for contentment and trust, that you may seek first His kingdom and walk in His will step by step, led by the Holy Spirit.

We ask the Lord to cover your home, your hearts and your minds with His holy protection. As you have prayed, we ask that His peace, which is the mother of all good things, would rest upon every room, every door and window, and upon all who dwell there. We pray that He would station His angels around you, for each of His children has care in His sight, and that He would grant you a restful and peaceful night, blessing your meals and your activities with joy and thankfulness. We ask Him to lift past trauma and to calm frustration and distress, and to replace screaming and restlessness with quietness and self control by His grace. May He take what is troubled and bring it into order, that your household may live in harmony and love.

We remember before God your longing for guidance and for a good future in His arms. We ask Him to keep you and your mother and all your family safe and strong in Christ, to comfort you in the loss of your father, to fill you with hope in the resurrection, and to lead you according to His perfect will. Salvation and every blessing come through Jesus Christ alone, and it is in His name we have confidence to draw near.

Father, hear these cries. Heal where You will heal, provide where You will provide, guard and give peace where You will give peace, and above all make us faithful to You. We ask all this in the precious and miraculous name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our hope. Amen.
