Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your simple and sincere request for blessing in the name of Jesus Christ. That desire is close to the heart of God, and it is good to bring it to Him directly.
The blessing you are asking for does not come because you have earned it or because you have been devout enough. It comes as a gift of grace. Grace is God's loving favor toward us when we are completely undeserving, and it is glorious because it rests entirely on what Jesus has done for you. He became poor so that through His poverty you might know the riches of God's love. He who knew no sin was made to be sin for us, so that you might be forgiven, redeemed through His blood, and accepted before the Father.
Scripture says that as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him. Because of Jesus, you can have peace with God and access by faith into this grace in which you now stand. You are justified by His grace and made an heir of the hope of eternal life, not by works, for grace and works cannot be mixed. If it is by grace it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would not be grace.
God promised to Abraham, in blessing I will bless you, and that promise comes to all who share Abraham's faith. Through faith in Jesus Christ you enter into that covenant and receive the blessing God promised. Often we miss His blessing not because we have failed to do enough, but because we fail to trust how much He loves us and wants to bless us. We look at our own failures and disqualify ourselves, instead of looking at His love and His grace toward us in Christ.
Standing in grace does not mean we are free to live however we want. Grace that pardons also cleanses and teaches us to walk in a way that honors the Lord. We do not praise Him in order to get a blessing, we praise Him because He has already blessed us so richly in Christ.

Father, I thank You for Your great grace and mercy revealed in Jesus Christ. I thank You that this one who is asking is loved by You and can come boldly to Your throne to find mercy and grace to help in time of need. I ask that You bless this life according to the riches of Your grace, grant forgiveness, peace, and the assurance of being accepted in Your beloved Son. Help this heart to trust not in its own worthiness but in Your faithful love, to stand firmly in Your grace, and to walk in faith before You. Reveal Your presence and Your kindness in a deep and personal way, and make this one more and more like Jesus. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
