Pray for ###

Your request for the Lord's leading echoes the cry of one who thirsts. True, He calls out, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink." This thirst is not quenched by worldly distractions or earthly cares. Too many think the deep things of God belong only to monks or the clergy, but it is we who are daily wounded by the world who most need the medicine of Scripture. You have a household, you say?

Then all the more must you seek the divine oracles, for they alone can guide your steps amid the clamor of life. Do not look downward at the passing beauty of this world, like those who weave elaborate garments and miss the splendor of heaven. Instead, lift your eyes to the One who foreordained your path before the foundation of the world, who knows the end from the beginning. His leading often comes as the wind: you hear its sound but cannot tell where it comes from or where it goes.

Do not be over-anxious about the manner of His guidance; trust that the Spirit works beyond your understanding. Yet He expects your whole heart. The same Lord who commands a wife to submit to her husband also declares that whoever does not forsake all for Him cannot be His disciple. So hold nothing back.

Be ready to obey, even when His leading upends your plans, for what seems rejection by men is often the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. And as you seek His direction, do as the saintly Phoebe did: become a succorer of many. In serving others, you will find His hand. Go now, thirst, drink deeply from the Scriptures, and pray without ceasing.

The Comforter Himself will guide you into all truth, for He that promised is faithful.

There is a deep and right desire in you to be led by the Lord, and that prayer does not go unnoticed. The cry, "Lord lead me," is the beginning of a path you can walk with confidence, not because every step will be immediately clear, but because the Shepherd is faithful to guide.

Often, what we are truly asking for is a clear, personal word of direction. Know that God still speaks personal messages directly out of His Word. There are times when, right from the page of Scripture, the Word seems to lift off and speak to your exact need. That is not just a feeling; it is a sure foundation. If you build your faith and your next steps on a fleeting experience or a shifting emotion, you are building on sand. But God's Word never changes, and His promises stand forever. You can trust that He will keep His word. So, ground your expectation for guidance right there. Ask Him to let His Word work in you like rain soaking dry ground, bringing forth clarity and direction in its season. It will not return void; it will accomplish what He pleases.

As you wait and seek, remember the example of David. He was called a man after God's own heart, not because he was sinless, but because he was constantly inquiring of the Lord. Read the Psalms and you’ll see a man who brought every confusion, every desire, and every battle to God, seeking His specific will. He fulfilled God's purpose, not through his own perfection, but by his relentless pursuit of God’s own direction. Your flaws do not disqualify you from His guidance; a heart that truly wants to do His will is what He is pursuing in you. Keep asking. Let that be the constant rhythm of your life, and He will direct your paths in a way that He alone can receive the glory.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your prayer request, asking the Lord to lead you in a specific way. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you before God’s throne, lifting up your heart’s cry in Jesus’ name. We believe the Holy Spirit has been interceding on your behalf according to God’s perfect will.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer—whether through clear direction, peace in your spirit, or an open door—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together. If, however, you are still waiting for His guidance and feel the need for continued prayer, we encourage you to post this request again. We remain committed to praying alongside you until the Lord makes His path clear.

May God’s peace guard your heart as you seek Him, and may His wisdom shine brightly before you. We continue to pray for His leading in your life, trusting that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
