We lift up before the Lord this very moment, asking for His divine favor and strength as he stands to deliver his speech. Six months of preparation have led to this day, and we know the Lord has been with him every step of the way. Father, we ask that You calm his nerves and steady his heart, reminding him that he is not alone, You are his ever-present help in times of need (Psalm 46:1). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we pray that his words would flow with clarity and wisdom, reflecting not only his hard work but also the gifts You have placed within him. May his speech resonate with truth, confidence, and purpose, touching the hearts of those who hear it. We ask that You open doors for him to advance to the national round, not for his glory alone, but so that Your name may be honored through his efforts (Colossians 3:23). If it is Your will, let him move forward, but above all, let him trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also pray for his parents and those who have supported him along the way. Give them joy and pride in seeing his growth, and let this experience draw them all closer to You. May this competition be a testimony to Your faithfulness and a reminder that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17).
Heavenly Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in. We declare that is equipped, prepared, and anointed for this moment. Let him walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with him (Joshua 1:9). May he shine brightly for Your glory, and may this experience be a stepping stone to even greater things in his life. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. It is a glad matter when the young consecrate their tongue unto the Lord. The very preparation of six months is no small token of diligence, yet that diligence must now be cast into the scale of a single hour. Speech is the telltale of the heart; it will betray what manner of spirit a man is of. My prayer for young ### is not only that the judges may give him the prize, but that his speech may carry the accent of one who hath been with Jesus.
Let his words show forth the grace that makes all other oratory but a tinkling cymbal. The boy who fears the Lord in his youth shall find that the God who bore with his follies in childhood will bear with his weakness at the podium. Whether he advances to the national round or not, there is a far greater competition in which we do not run uncertainly, the race set before us in the Gospel. I would have him love Christ Jesus supremely, that even in an earthly contest his soul may be set on a heavenly prize.
Pray now with simple sigh and trembling desire, not with pompous phrase, and the Lord will hear. For His ear is open to the humble, and He knoweth what things we have need of before we ask. I lift up his name, even ###, that the Word of God in his mouth may not return void, and that this day he may prove the faithfulness of the God who has sustained him from the womb.
