They prayed not for the threats to vanish, but for boldness to keep doing what God had given them. Let that shape your prayer. You are facing men who wield intimidation like a weapon, but their power is temporary. Cry out to the Lord who can silence every accusation and shield your reputation.

I’ve seen believers go through severe difficulties, yet their joy overflowed in generosity toward others in need. The Lord knows your situation. When you think about the offenses you may be holding against office colleagues or those who slander you, lay them down. Enter into the freedom of having your own record cleared, and then extend that same release. That is what keeps bitterness from gaining a foothold while you wait for your name to be cleared.
