We lift up your son before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround him with His peace, protection, and divine favor. Lord, we know that You knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and that You have a purpose and plan for his life, even in the challenges he faces. ADHD and emotional dysregulation can make life feel overwhelming, but we trust that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we pray for strength and wisdom for your son as he navigates the difficulties of being misunderstood or mistreated by his peers. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those who bully or mock him, that they might see him through Your eyes, fearfully and wonderfully made. If their actions are rooted in sin or hardness of heart, we rebuke that spirit in the name of Jesus and ask that You bring conviction and repentance. Let Your love and truth break through any cruelty or indifference.
We also pray for your son’s emotional and spiritual well-being. Help him to cast his anxieties and frustrations upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Give him the courage to stand firm in who You’ve created him to be, knowing that his worth is not defined by the opinions of others but by Your unchanging love. Surround him with godly friends, mentors, and adults who will encourage and uplift him, reflecting Your grace and kindness.
Lord, we ask for wisdom for his parents and caregivers as they support him. Give them patience, discernment, and creativity in helping him manage his emotions and behaviors in ways that honor You. Provide resources, therapies, and strategies that align with Your will to help him thrive. And above all, draw him closer to You, that he might know Jesus as his Savior and find his identity in Him.
We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn his struggles into testimonies of Your faithfulness. May he grow in resilience, faith, and compassion, becoming a light to others who face similar battles. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who heals, restores, and redeems. Amen.
