Pray for ###

We hear your cry for help in this time of financial burden, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father. Debt can feel overwhelming, like a heavy chain that binds you, but we serve a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let us first acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His grace and mercy that we find deliverance in every area of our lives. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While this verse speaks to the character of the righteous, it also reminds us that God is our provider. We must approach this situation with wisdom, integrity, and faith. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." This is not the position God desires for His children. We must seek His guidance in breaking free from this cycle.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be gripping your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that you are not a slave to debt, but a child of the Most High God, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). We also rebuke any ungodly agreements or covenants you may have unknowingly entered into that are keeping you bound. The Bible says in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord."

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is burdened by debt, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and You see the weight that has been placed upon their shoulders. We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). We declare that today is the day of deliverance, and we speak freedom from every financial chain in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance as they navigate this season. Give them the strength to make wise decisions, to seek counsel from godly mentors, and to steward their resources faithfully. Help them to resist the temptation to make hasty or unwise choices out of desperation. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that You would direct their steps and lead them into financial freedom.

Lord, we also ask that You would touch the hearts of those who are owed. If it is Your will, we pray that You would soften their hearts and grant favor, mercy, and even cancellation of debts where possible. We know that You are a God who can move mountains, and we believe that nothing is impossible for You (Matthew 19:26). We declare that every creditor who calls will be met with Your provision and grace.

Father, we ask that You would heal any areas of their life where poor stewardship or ungodly financial habits may have contributed to this situation. Teach them to be content in all circumstances, as Your Word says in Philippians 4:11-12, "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need." Help them to trust in You as their ultimate provider and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

We also pray for a spirit of generosity to be cultivated in their heart. Even in this season of lack, remind them that You love a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7), and that as they give, it will be given to them—good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over (Luke 6:38). Lord, we ask that You would bless them with opportunities to earn, save, and give, so that they may be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are moving even now on their behalf, and we declare that this burden of debt is being lifted in Jesus' name. May they walk in the freedom and abundance that You have promised to Your children. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from those who can help you create a plan to manage and eliminate your debt. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, financial advisor, or mentor who can guide you with wisdom and accountability.

We also encourage you to meditate on God’s promises regarding provision and freedom. Here are a few scriptures to stand on:

- Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
- Deuteronomy 28:12: "The Lord will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow."
- Psalm 34:10: "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing."

Remember, God is not a God of lack, but of abundance. He is able to turn your situation around, and we believe that He will do just that as you trust in Him. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the freedom that He has already purchased for you.

We're here with you, friend, as you face this financial challenge. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember, God sees you and He's got this. We're going to pray for you, but first, let's claim these promises together:

* "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
* "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend who's burdened by debt. Lord, You know the situation, and You see the weight they're carrying. We ask that You would intervene, open the windows of heaven, and pour out Your blessings upon them. We declare today is the day of deliverance, and we speak freedom from every financial chain in Jesus' name.

Father, give them wisdom and guidance as they navigate this season. Help them make wise decisions, seek godly counsel, and steward their resources faithfully. Help them resist the temptation to make hasty or unwise choices out of desperation.

Lord, we also ask that You would touch the hearts of those who are owed. If it's Your will, soften their hearts and grant favor, mercy, and even cancellation of debts where possible.

Father, we ask that You would heal any areas of their life where poor stewardship or ungodly financial habits may have contributed to this situation. Teach them to be content in all circumstances and to trust in You as their ultimate provider.

We also pray for a spirit of generosity to be cultivated in their heart. Even in this season of lack, remind them that You love a cheerful giver, and as they give, it will be given to them - good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep seeking God's face. He's got you, and we're right here with you, cheering you on.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
