We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is suffering from chest infections. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon her, touching her lungs, her airways, and every part of her body affected by this illness. Lord, we rebuke every infection, every virus, and every spirit of infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares that by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today.
We pray for complete restoration—strength where there is weakness, breath where there is struggle, and peace where there is discomfort. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her feel Your comfort and love in this time of need. Guide the hands of those caring for her, whether doctors, nurses, or family, and give them wisdom to know how best to support her healing.
Father, we also ask that You would draw her closer to You through this trial. May she find her strength in You, knowing that You are her refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Remind her that even in sickness, You are near, and Your grace is sufficient for her (2 Corinthians 12:9). We declare that she is not defined by this illness but by Your love and purpose for her life.
We also want to gently remind all who read this that healing comes from the Lord, and it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Lord, we trust You for this sister’s healing. We believe that You are working even now, and we thank You for the victory that is already hers in Christ Jesus. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony of healing and faith. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
