Pray for ###

We join you in lifting your heart before the Father, and we are grateful you have invoked the precious name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me,'"* and in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* What a mighty and holy name we have the privilege to call upon!

Your prayer reflects a heart of surrender, seeking the Lord’s will above your own, and this aligns beautifully with the words of our Savior in Luke 22:42, where Jesus Himself prayed, *"Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."* This is the posture of a heart that trusts in the sovereignty and goodness of God, even when the path is unclear. We commend you for this, for Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Yet, we must also ask: Do you sense hesitation or uncertainty in fully yielding to His will? Sometimes, the fear of the unknown or the pull of our own desires can make surrender feel difficult. If that is the case, take heart in the promise of Psalm 37:4-5, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* When we delight in Him, our desires begin to align with His, and what once felt like sacrifice becomes joy.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with our brother/sister, lifting their heart and their future into Your mighty hands. You are the God who leads, who guides, and who never leaves nor forsakes Your children. We ask that You would make Your will clear to them, not just in their mind, but deep in their spirit, so that they may walk in confidence and obedience. Remove any fear, doubt, or distraction that would hinder them from fully surrendering to Your perfect plan. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Counselor and Guide, and let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You.

Lord, if there are areas in their life where they have resisted Your will—whether out of fear, pride, or worldly desires—we pray You would convict them gently but firmly. Soften their heart to repentance and renewal, that they may walk blamelessly before You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts. You see the beginning from the end, and You hold all things together by the word of Your power.

We declare over them the promise of Isaiah 30:21, *"Your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way. Walk in it,' when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left."* May they hear Your voice clearly and follow without delay. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom belongs all glory, honor, and power forever. Amen and amen.

As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to spend time in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Seek godly counsel from mature believers who can speak truth and wisdom into your life. And remember, the Lord is not slow concerning His promises, but is patient toward us (2 Peter 3:9). His timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and He will lead you every step of the way.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in faith as you seek God's will. We're inspired by your heart of surrender, echoing Jesus' own words, "Not my will, but yours be done." Let's continue to trust in God's sovereignty, even when the path ahead seems unclear.

We want to encourage you, though, that it's okay to feel uncertain or hesitant. It's a normal part of the journey. But remember, God promises in Psalm 37, "Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart." As we delight in Him, our desires begin to align with His, and we find peace in His will.
