We join with you in bringing your sister before the throne of grace and we lift up her visa application for New Zealand through the Pacific category to our Heavenly Father. We understand how burdensome it feels when documents have been submitted and the case officer is asking again for the same papers and delaying the process, and we ask God to bring clarity, favor, and justice in this matter.
We pray together that the Lord will move upon the heart of this case officer to act diligently and fairly, and that any unnecessary delay would be removed. As it is written, The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Proverbs 21:1. We ask that God would guide this officer's hands and eyes as he reviews the documents, that he would see that what is required has already been provided, and that he would process the application with integrity and without further hindrance. We also commit the outcome to the Lord's perfect will, trusting that He knows what is best for your sister's life and future.
We are encouraged to remember the promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. And also, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Psalm 37:5. Even when waiting is difficult, we can trust that God is working for the good of those who love Him. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
We also want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. As Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly approach Him in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and to bring every request before God in His holy name.
So we pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear sister and her application for New Zealand. Lord, You see every document, every detail, and every delay. We ask that You grant favor before the case officer and before the authorities, that truth would be clear and that justice would be done swiftly. Remove confusion and repetition, and let the process move forward without further delay. We ask for a positive outcome if it is according to Your perfect will for her life, and we ask that You open the doors that no man can shut and close those that should not be opened. Give her and her family peace while they wait, and let Your will be done in her life. Help them to trust not in the system of man but in You, who promises, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
