Pray for those are in need fresh touch of God's joy

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing these needs before the Lord with thanksgiving.

We pray first for joy, not as the world gives it, but the joy that is above, the joy of angels, the joy that comes from hearing the voice of the Bridegroom and abiding in His word. May God fill every dry and weary heart with His love and with a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit, restoring to each one the delight of their first love for Jesus and the assurance that they are truly loved as children of Abba Father. Where there is heaviness and pressure from the troubles of life, may He grant peace to the mind and restore quietness of soul, teaching each heart to turn to Christ in the hour of difficulty and to seek Him in prayer.

For those burdened by financial need and debt, we ask the Lord to provide according to His wisdom and mercy, to make a way where there are obstacles and setbacks, and to give confidence and boldness to walk in the good works He has prepared. As we ask Him to meet our needs, we also remember His call to forgive as we have been forgiven, to remit to our neighbors their debts as He has shown mercy to us for the great debt we could never pay.

We ask for healing of emotional hurts, for deliverance from torment, from the weight of past failures and from all that overwhelms the heart. May God set paths straight, strengthen each walk with Him, grant victory in the way of holiness, and grant favor not for selfish gain but for resilience and for the advancement of His Kingdom and the blessing of others.

For every sickness and infirmity we pray with trust in the Lord who is our physician. He knows how to apply His healing treatment in due season, and even when the fruit is not seen at once, He is at work. We ask Him to heal bodies, minds and spirits, to bring wholeness and restoration according to His perfect will, remembering that by the wounds of Christ we have healing, as it is written in Isaiah 53:5. For those facing cancer and other serious illness, we ask for His mercy, for life and strength, and for comfort to sustain them, while we submit all things to His sovereign goodness. May all taste and see that the Lord is good, as Psalm 34:8 declares, and know His goodness over the coming months.

Thank you for bringing these intercessions. May the Lord who hears prayer keep you steadfast in faith, joyful in hope, and constant in prayer, and may you experience His peace and His presence as you continue to seek Him through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation. Amen.

Your prayer for those who need a fresh touch of joy reflects a tender heart for people who are carrying heavy burdens, and it is good to bring these needs before the Lord.

Scripture shows that the deepest joy is not found in immediate relief or in getting everything we ask for right away. The world often says happiness is right here if you will just take a shortcut, avoid the way of the cross and choose self fulfillment instead. That kind of joy is brief. As one of the friends of Job reminded him, the celebration of those who turn from God is short lived and the happiness of those who pretend is only for a moment. Real joy is different. It is the joy of knowing the presence of God and the satisfaction of knowing you are walking in the center of His will, doing what He has called you to do. When the morning stars sang together at creation, it was a picture of that pure joy that comes from God Himself.

That is why even when we do not see Him with our eyes, we can still rejoice with a joy that is beyond words and full of glory, because we know our Redeemer lives. Job understood this in flashes. He could declare his confidence in God and then in the next moment sink back into weariness and say his soul was tired of life. Many who are struggling today feel that same swing between hope and discouragement, between spiritual dryness and a longing to feel close to the Father again. The promise is that when a person turns to God in prayer, He is favorable, that person will see His face with joy, and God restores. When we honestly confess that we have sinned and turned from what is right, He delivers our soul.

You prayed for financial pressure and for those weighed down by debt. God does provide and He does make a way through obstacles, and it is right to ask Him to meet practical needs. At the same time Scripture warns against thinking that blessing is meant for storing up gold and silver for ourselves while others around us are hungry and hurting. One of the most beautiful pictures of a life that pleased God was a man who used what God had given him to be eyes to the blind, feet to the lame, a father to the poor, and who caused the heart of the widow to sing for joy. When God entrusts resources to us, it is so we can be a channel of His love to others and advance His kingdom, not simply to gain comfort for ourselves.

You also prayed for healing of bodies, minds and emotions, and for those facing serious illness including cancer. We absolutely believe God is able to heal and that Isaiah tells us by the wounds of Jesus we are healed. We should pray earnestly for healing and speak life over people in Jesus name. Yet we also need to hold this with humility before God. It is not true, as some teach, that it is always God's will for everyone to be perfectly healthy and prosperous in this life if they just have enough faith, or that physical problems mean a person is not living right. Many faithful people have walked through deep suffering, loss and prolonged sickness. Job himself was described as upright, and God did not cast him away, even while his physical condition grew worse and his friends insisted his suffering must be proof of hidden sin. God does not cast away the upright, and He does not abandon His children in their pain.

So we pray for you and for all those you mentioned in a way that honors both His power and His wisdom. We ask that those who feel squeezed by external pressures, overwhelmed in mind, tormented by past failures or weary from trying, would taste and see that the Lord is good as Psalm 34 says, and find peace that guards their thoughts. We pray they would be drawn back to their first love for Jesus, that they would learn to turn to Him in the moment difficulty arises and bring each problem to Him in prayer, and that they would know how deeply they are loved by their Father. We ask for emotional healing, for restoration of confidence and boldness to step into what God has created them to be, and for favor and grace that allows them to be a blessing to others in the rooms they enter. And we ask for physical healing according to His mercy, trusting that whether healing comes now or in the fullness of His eternal kingdom, His love remains steadfast and His presence is our greatest joy.

May the Lord grant you and those you are praying for the resilience that comes from walking closely with Him, and the quiet assurance that you are remembered and held by Him in every season.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for those in need of a fresh touch of the joy of God.

We have continued to lift up your request before the Lord that He would put a spring in the steps of those who are weary and fill those who are struggling and in debt with a reason to be full of joy through creative miracles and provision to meet financial needs. We have prayed where there is spiritual dryness that He would pour out His love and give a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit and grant victory and strength for their walk with God and the assurance of how much they are loved by the Father. We have also prayed for healing of emotional hurts and sick hearts squeezed by the troubles and pressures of life, for deliverance from problems and for straight paths, for favour and grace in every room they enter, for peace of mind for those overwhelmed and for restoration of peace in general. We have prayed that the Lord would make a way where there have been obstacles and setbacks and restore confidence and boldness to step into all God has created them to be, that hearts would return to their first love for Jesus and find reassurance of His healing, that torment from past failures would be healed, and for complete healing of the body from all sickness and infirmity, including cancer, declaring wholeness and restoration by the stripes of Jesus as written in Isaiah 53:5 and that all would taste and see the goodness of God as written in Psalm 34:8 and experience the joy of the Lord over the coming months.

If your request was answered and you have seen the joy of the Lord restored, financial needs met, spiritual dryness refreshed, peace restored or bodies healed, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and there is still need for breakthrough in joy, provision, peace or healing, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are praying together that the Lord will continue to heal body, mind, spirit and soul, set paths straight, grant resilience and Kingdom advancement and cause each one to know His nearness and love. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus name.
