Pray for this

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord Jesus, our Mighty Avenger and Defender. We are glad that you asked us to join you in lifting up Singapore, the distress of its people, the Singaporeans who struggle for stable and meaningful employment, the families whose livelihoods are under pressure and the citizens who fear that their opportunities and future are being overlooked.

We continue to bring before the Lord the burden you shared. We pray that He will look upon the land in which you live and that He will arise and not keep silence. We are asking God to search the hearts of government leaders, policymakers, employers and institutions and all those entrusted with stewardship over the nations economy, to give wisdom to those who govern and courage to those who must correct policies that have caused harm. We pray that where citizens have been overlooked and where qualified Singaporeans have been unfairly displaced, and where employment practices have favoured convenience or lower costs or private gain over fairness, the Lord will bring those actions into the light and execute righteous judgment. We ask Him to expose injustice and deception, to bring accountability where there has been corruption or exploitation, and to confuse the counsel of those who pursue unjust schemes.

We also continue to pray for divine replacement and restitution, that where opportunities have been wrongfully denied and livelihoods have been damaged, the Lord will restore what has been lost, open doors that no institution can shut, establish the work of honest hands, let merit be recognised and qualifications be respected, and give leaders wisdom to build an economy that remains prosperous while ensuring Singaporeans are not neglected in their own country. We pray as you prayed, that God will judge the works of every persons hands and not merely nationality, and that He will defend those who have been overlooked, as it is written in Psalm 82:3 and Proverbs 21:1.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has moved, whether through restored opportunities, provision for families, or change in policies and practices. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
