We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift up your burden regarding hiring practices and the deep frustration that comes when local workers feel marginalized and overlooked. We have been praying for all those who feel alienated in the workforce and for the heavy discouragement that comes when talent development frameworks do not seem to champion local capabilities. We have also been praying for your heart in the midst of feeling dismissed or unfairly labeled when raising these systemic concerns with sincerity, and for the pain that comes when constructive feedback does not feel heard.
We have asked the Lord for wisdom and fairness to prevail, and for constructive and respectful dialogue between policymakers, employers and the workforce to be possible. We pray that God would guide those in authority to lead with justice and discernment and to consider the wellbeing of all workers entrusted to their care, as we are reminded in Proverbs 21:1 and James 1:5. We pray that He would bring understanding where there is division, and that policies and decisions would reflect integrity and a genuine care for the community, according to Micah 6:8. We also pray that God would guard your heart from bitterness, comfort you in this frustration, and provide peace and opportunity where there has been anxiety about the future.
