Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this difficult season where you have felt the need to step away for a time.
We have been continuing to lift you up before the Lord, especially regarding the hurt you experienced through your mentor. We have prayed for the condescension and belittlement you endured to be healed by the encouragement and love of Christ, and for the Lord to make clear the difference between human will masked as God's will and His true will for your life. We have asked God to protect your peace, your livelihood and your well being as you guard your heart, and to provide for your profession and your desire to earn a living and to start a family according to His good gift of marriage.
We have also prayed for your mentor, that if there has been error or lack of faith in his guidance to press you to abandon your calling and step down into work you were not called to, that God would bring conviction and repentance, and that any teaching that forbids what God has created for good would be corrected. We have prayed that the Lord would restore your confidence in God and in Jesus and that you would not be influenced by discouragement but be strengthened by the truth of His word. We remember the scriptures you shared, that each day has enough trouble of its own Matt 6:34, and the warning against doctrines that forbid marriage 1 Tim 4:1, and the parable of the talents Matt 25:14, asking God to help you steward faithfully what He has entrusted to you.
We continue to pray that God would rectify these matters in His timing and that He would guide you as to when and how to return to fellowship.
