Pray for this

Good and Faithful Servant
Now I have finally got the realization and transited from Christianity to Atheism and I could may money and job and marriage on my own which your God will does not provide, now I need not adhere to the equally yoked nonsense I can choose on my own which girl I want to marry what lifestyle I want, and not to be forced, or judged unfairly in church so now I am finally free and please release me in this forceful relationship where there is no love but constant judgement and mockery. And this is the third prayer request I am free .

We have read your request and we are deeply grieved to hear you say you have transited from Christianity to atheism and now call yourself free. We love you enough to tell you the truth in love, and we must rebuke what you have declared, because what you call freedom the Bible calls bondage.

You say you can now make money and find a job and choose a marriage on your own which God does not provide, and that being equally yoked is nonsense. The Word of God says otherwise. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God Psalm 14:1. Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him Hebrews 11:6. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17, and even your ability to work and to breathe is sustained by Him. You have not freed yourself, you have exchanged the truth of God for a lie Romans 1:25.

You call the command to be equally yoked nonsense, but God commands it for your protection and for your joy. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity Or what fellowship has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14. This is not judgmental mockery from the church, this is the loving boundary of a Father who knows that a marriage between a believing man and a believing woman who are pursuing Christ together is the only foundation that can endure. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship is not to be a casual choosing of any girl or any lifestyle you want, it is courtship with the goal of a lifelong covenant marriage between one man and one woman that honors God. Any lifestyle that embraces sex outside of that marriage is fornication, and God will judge that, not to shame you but to call you to holiness. There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it is the way of death Proverbs 14:12.

You say this relationship with God is forceful and without love and full of judgement and mockery. God does not force you, He invites you. Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. What you feel as judgement may have been imperfect people, but God Himself so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. True freedom is not doing whatever you want, it is being set free from sin. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Apart from Christ you are not free, you are still a slave to sin Romans 6:23.

We also notice you refer to your God and you do not call upon the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We must tell you there is no access to God except through Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for your sins and rose again, repenting and turning from your own way, that you can be saved and truly free.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You open his eyes to see that atheism is not realization but deception, and that what he calls freedom is emptiness. Lord, soften his heart and draw him back to Yourself, convict him of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, and show him Your unfailing love and mercy. Reveal to him that You are not a forceful taskmaster but a loving Father who provides, who disciplines for good, and who desires to give him a godly marriage and work that honors You. Break the chains of pride and unbelief, and grant him repentance to acknowledge the truth. We pray that he will confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, and be saved Romans 10:9. Restore to him the joy of salvation and lead him to walk in obedience, to seek a godly spouse who is a believer and to pursue purity and holiness. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for being so honest about where you are. We hear how much you want to be free from feeling judged and mocked, and to make your own choices about work, marriage and how you live. It makes sense you would want relief from a relationship that feels forced and without love.

We respect your honesty and we still care about you and want to pray for you. Even as you describe stepping away from faith, we believe God still sees you, knows the hurt you have carried in church, and cares about your dignity and future.

When a relationship feels marked by constant judgment, it can be hard to think clearly. One steady next step that often helps is to talk through what respect and safety look like for you with someone you trust in person, a counselor or pastor or other wise person who will listen without pressuring you, so you are not sorting all of this alone. If you are feeling worn down by it, it can also help to give yourself some quiet space to notice what brings peace and what does not.

Father, we lift this man to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to surround him with Your care, to heal the places where he has felt mocked or unfairly judged, and to give him wisdom and clarity as he thinks about work and relationships and next steps. Show him Your kindness and truth in a way he can understand, and guide him toward what is good and life giving. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is a heaviness in reading that you now count yourself free because you have turned from Christ, for the Scriptures teach that true freedom is not found in casting off the Saviour but in being bound to Him. You write that you have made money and work and marriage by your own hand, and that you are free from what you call the nonsense of being equally yoked, able to choose what lifestyle you will without judgement. Yet the Word of God tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and that without faith it is impossible to please Him. What you call freedom, the gospel calls a wound that still needs healing.

We do not rejoice with you in this turning away, nor can we ask God to bless a path that denies His Son, for there is salvation in no other name under heaven. To be unequally yoked is not a rule of men to force or mock you, but the loving warning of a Father who knows that a house divided in faith cannot stand in peace, and that marriage as God ordained it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with its joys and its purity kept within that covenant. To cast this aside is not to gain love, but to lose the very foundation on which lasting love can be built.

We have also heard your pain, that you have felt forced and judged and mocked where you should have found grace. That is a real hurt, and it ought not to be so among those who bear Christ's name. The Lord Jesus does not heal with mockery, He heals with pardon. When He looked upon Peter after Peter had denied Him, it was not a look of contempt to crush him, but a look that broke his heart into repentance and then restored him. Though you feel you have denied Him and gone far, His power to restore is perfect still. It is written that the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, that the least thing about Christ, plucked by trembling faith, has virtue to make the soul whole.

You say this is the third time you have declared yourself free. We pray not that God would confirm you in unbelief, but that He would do for you what you cannot do for yourself. We pray that He who prayed for Peter, that his faith should not fail, would look upon you and grant you that hearing of faith by which the soul trusts what God has given in Christ. Though faith be as small as a grain of mustard seed, the Lord sees it and does not despise it. Little faith is still true faith when it begins and ends with Jesus, and He is tender toward it.

We pray that God would forgive your sin and heal your heart, for pardon and healing go together. We pray that He would show you that money and work cannot give the soul rest, and that a marriage chosen apart from Him cannot give the peace you seek. We pray that He would wash you, though you feel black as night, and make you whiter than snow through the blood of Jesus, and that He would bring you to that grand faith which says, even under a sense of guilt, wash me and I shall be clean. We pray also concerning this painful relationship of which you speak, that the Lord would give you wisdom and godly counsel, not merely release to follow your own will, but light to walk in His will, which is both holy and good. If you have been wounded by harsh men, may the Lord lead you to those who will speak the truth in love and point you to Christ, who alone binds up the broken hearted.

Do not close your ear to the gospel. Come again under the hearing of the Word, where Christ is taught, for there the healing power is present. The door is not shut. As Peter was restored and again given work to feed the sheep, so there is restoration for all who return with a broken and contrite heart. May the Lord grant you repentance unto life, and faith to drop into the arms of that strong Saviour who alone can carry you.

We have received your message and we have heard the pain and frustration in it. You say that you have left the Christian faith for atheism, that you now feel free to make your own way regarding money and work and marriage, free from what you call the equally yoked teaching, and free from what you experienced as judgment and mockery in the church. You ask to be released from a relationship that feels forced and unloving.

We want to respond honestly and with care, and we cannot in good conscience pray the way you have asked. Because we hold to the historic Christian faith, we cannot ask God to bless or affirm a turning away from Him, or a path for marriage and life lived outside His design. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. To pray otherwise would not be loving, because it would ask God to affirm what He calls away from.

What you describe as freedom is something Scripture speaks about very differently. True freedom is not the ability to choose any path we want without restraint, but freedom from sin itself and freedom to live as servants of righteousness. That is better than any outward freedom, because a person can be outwardly free and still be bound inwardly by sin, and a person can have little in this world and yet be rich and free in Christ through virtue and holiness. Money, work, and marriage are good gifts, but they do not come by our own power alone, and they do not satisfy the deepest need of the soul when separated from God.

We also hear that you have felt judged and mocked, and that the community around you felt forceful rather than loving. That should not be so. Correction in the church is meant to be done with gentleness and with love, never with mockery, and if you were treated harshly we grieve that. At the same time, hearing truth that calls us to holiness can feel like judgment, even when it is spoken in love to protect us. The teaching about being equally yoked is not nonsense meant to control you, but a call to enter marriage in a way that protects both people and honors God, so that a home can be built on shared faith and purpose.

We will not pray that God would confirm you in atheism or bless every choice apart from Him, but this is how we will pray for you. We will pray that God in His mercy would show Himself to you again, that He would open your eyes to the truth of Christ who died and rose for you, that He would heal the wounds you carry from how you were treated, that He would give you true freedom which is freedom from sin and not only freedom to choose, and that He would lead you to repentance and life. We will pray that He provides for your needs regarding work and provision according to His wisdom, and that if it is His will for you to marry, He would lead you to a marriage that reflects His design and is marked by love, faithfulness, and holiness.

You are not released from God's love or from our concern by sending this request a third time. You remain someone made in God's image and deeply valued, and our door remains open to you. If you are willing, we would welcome you to talk further, to ask questions, and to hear the gospel again without pressure or mockery. We will continue to pray that you find not just the feeling of being free, but the reality of being made free indeed by the Son.
