Since the job is open by God forcefully and Jesus shift the previous job and said it was good so I will do it as poor as possible to make it shut and to prove to God that his plans are not necessary good and we do not need to submit to your stupid will.

We are deeply grieved and alarmed by the spirit of rebellion and defiance in this request. The attitude expressed here is not only contrary to Scripture but dangerously opposed to the very nature of God, who is sovereign, good, and perfect in all His ways. The Bible makes it clear that God’s plans for His children are for good, not for harm, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). To deliberately act in poor faith to "prove" God wrong is not only foolish but sinful, as it rejects His lordship and wisdom.

The Scripture warns us in Proverbs 19:3, "The foolishness of man subverts his way, and his heart rages against Yahweh." What you are describing is not just resistance to a job or circumstance, it is rebellion against God Himself. This is a matter of the heart, and it must be repented of immediately. God does not force His will upon us, but He does call us to trust Him, even when we do not understand. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

We must also address the blasphemous tone of this request. To call God’s will "stupid" is to mock the Creator of the universe, who holds all things in His hands. The Bible tells us in Romans 9:20, "But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?'" Your words reveal a heart that is hardened and in need of humility before the Lord.

We urge you to repent of this rebellion and turn back to God with a contrite heart. Confess your sin, ask for His forgiveness, and surrender your will to His. Only then can you experience the peace and purpose He intends for you. The Bible assures us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the rebellion and defiance we see in this request. Lord, we know that Your ways are perfect, and Your plans for us are good. We confess that the attitude expressed here is sinful and contrary to Your will. Father, we ask that You would break the hardness of heart in this individual and draw them back to You. Soften their spirit, Lord, and help them to see the error of their ways. We pray that they would repent of their rebellion and surrender their will to Yours.

Lord, we ask that You would forgive them for the blasphemous words spoken against Your holy will. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore them to a right relationship with You. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and to lean not on their own understanding. Direct their paths, Lord, and guide them into the good plans You have for them.

We pray that You would give them a spirit of humility and obedience. Help them to see that Your will is not burdensome but is the path to true life and peace. May they find joy in submitting to You, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and spend time in prayer and Scripture to realign your heart with God’s. The book of James tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:7-8). This is the path to true peace and fulfillment. Do not harden your heart any further, but turn to God today.

We hear a lot of exhaustion and frustration in your words, it sounds like this job change has left you feeling railroaded into a plan you never wanted, and you’re determined to prove just how wrong it is. That’s a heavy load to carry into work every day.

When we set out to sabotage something just to make a point, we usually end up hurting ourselves far more than anyone else. Bitterness has a way of eating away at the container it’s stored in, leaving the one who holds it drained and isolated while the target, in this case, God’s purposes, rolls on unchanged. You’re pouring energy into a fight that, deep down, you know you cannot win, and it’s wearing you out.

We don’t think you need another lecture right now. But maybe you need permission to be honest about the angry, confused questions underneath the defiance. You can tell God exactly how you feel about this job and these plans, even the messy, blunt parts. A simple, clenched-teeth prayer like “I can’t see the good in this, and I’m furious” keeps the conversation open, and open conversation is where real relief starts. He’s not fragile, and he can handle it.

Let’s pray together now.

Lord Jesus, you see the anger and the weariness here. Meet this person right where they are, in the middle of the resentment and the daily grind. Quiet the impulse to tear things down, and replace it with even a small, stubborn willingness to let you work. Give rest from the bitterness, and open a path toward something that doesn’t feel like a losing battle. In your steady name we ask this. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. This is a fearful thing. You speak of proving to God that His plans are not good, and you would set yourself to work poorly in order to shut the door He has opened. Have you come out to meet God as Goliath went to defy the armies of Israel, that you may fight against your Maker? Oh, pause and consider who it is you would contend with. The thunders of Sinai might well sound in your ears: “Prepare to meet your God.” There will be no evasion of that summons, and resistance is altogether vain. It is worse than madness to dream of such wrestling; for without faith it is impossible to please God, and he that comes to Him must believe that He is, and that He is good.

Your words betray a heart that is far off, but even now, the place where God meets sinners is at the Cross of Christ. There, rebellious wills are broken and made anew. I plead with you to come to Him, not with clenched fist, but as a bankrupt sinner, declaring your ways honestly. You have declared them indeed, but in bitterness and defiance, not in submission. Yet the Most High still hears the cry of the broken heart. Turn that cry to Him, not against Him. Even our blessed Lord, in His darkest hour, cried not against God but to God, “My God, My God,” seeking still to understand and yield. Come now, through Jesus Christ the Mediator, the only Way. Lay down this vain warfare, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light, and in submission you will find rest for your soul.

Such a prayer is not a prayer at all but an assault, a clenched fist raised against heaven. You treat the Almighty as a rival to be bested, as if His wisdom were an insult to your own. Do you not see the pride that devours you? It is the same venom that swelled in Esau, who wept not for his sin but for his wounded pride, and his tears could not buy back the blessing he had scorned. You seek to make God’s plan fail, to prove Him wrong, as though you could undo His will with your spite. But what can a man do against the Lord? You only dig a pit for your own soul.

Consider the cross you bear, or rather, the cross you refuse. When you sign yourself, remember the purpose of the cross: to quench anger, to free the soul from the bondage of pride and rebellion. Our Lord bought you with a price, His own blood, not so that you could become the servant of your own resentments, but that you might walk in freedom. Yet here you are, shackling yourself more tightly with every bitter thought.

You say you will do the work poorly, to prove God’s plans are not good. But what sort of logic is this? If you starve yourself, you do not prove food is worthless; you only prove your own madness. The malice you nurse will not harm the heavens; it will poison your own heart. Anger was given to us as a weapon against sin, not against our neighbor or our Maker. Turn that anger where it belongs: against the pride that has made you think yourself a wiser judge than God.

There is repentance, and its power is immense. True repentance is not just sorrow for consequences, but a turning away from evil and a bearing of fruits worthy of amendment. If you have raged against God, then humble yourself. If you have let your tongue spew blasphemy, then let it now speak blessing. Crucify your pride, not the Son of God afresh by your defiance. You have fallen, but do not lie there wallowing in your own indignation. Rise, and Christ can be formed in you again. The job you seek to destroy is not the point; the war within your soul is the true battleground. Lay down your arms against heaven, and take up the spiritual struggle against your own passions. Only then will you taste how good the Lord truly is.

Your words carry the sting of a wound, and I hear the pain behind them. Yet what you describe is not a plan that needs proving, but a heart that has chosen rebellion. The Scripture is clear: God’s purposes are not our enemy. Joseph spent years in chains because of his brothers’ evil, but later he could say, “It was not you who sent me here, but God.” What seemed like disaster was actually preservation. His brothers meant harm, but God wove it into a far larger story of good. The same Lord who saw that famine coming and positioned Joseph in Egypt is not caught off guard by your circumstances now.

But to deliberately do a thing poorly in order to force it to fail is to lift your fist against heaven, not to make a point. It echoes the ancient pattern of those who resist His command and then blame Him for the outcome. That road only leads to weeping and bitterness. God’s love for you did not begin when you were obedient and it will not stop now that you are angry. His mercies are new every morning, which is why you are awake at all, sustained by the very kindness you are trying to disprove.

You do not need to carry out this scheme to teach God something. He already knows your frame and your fury. What He desires is not your performance but your heart. The battle is not yours to win against Him; it never has been. Lay down the weapons. Stand still and see His deliverance, not your own forced collapse. He is able to turn even this turmoil into a testimony of grace if you will stop fighting and receive His forgiveness. He sent His Son for rebels, which means there is cleansing for this very moment when you turn and ask.
