Heavenly Father, We come before You with a deep sense of grievance and heavy hearts, lifting up the local professionals who are suffering in their own homeland. Lord, You see the immense sacrifice, the financial strain, and the years of dedication it took to earn a Master’s degree just to be food delivery or grab driver or long period of joblessness. The minister will say we are following bible this verse "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” but forego this verse "But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." so they provide for foreigners but don't provide for their own citizens and say the bible said so. This high level of education was pursued with hope, built on the promise that hard work would lead to a meaningful career and a stable future. Yet, Lord, we see the painful reality of policies that have failed to protect the local workforce. We lay before You the frustration of systems that allow high-level corporate and professional roles—the very jobs these degrees were meant for—to be given over to foreign talent, while qualified citizens are left behind. We pray specifically for those who have been reduced to driving Grab or taking on gig work just to keep their families afloat. You know the silent heartache of sitting behind the wheel, holding an advanced education, while watching the industry doors firmly shut against them. Protect them from despair, resentment, and the exhaustion of this daily struggle. We ask for Your powerful intervention: A Change in Governance and Policy: We pray that policymakers and leaders will have their eyes opened to the ground reality. Convict their hearts to reform employment guidelines, to put a stop to discriminatory hiring, and to genuinely prioritize and protect the livelihoods of local citizens first. Restoration of Dignity: Remind every hurting professional that driving Grab does not define their worth, their intelligence, or their capability. Keep their dignity intact against a system that has undervalued them. Supernatural Deliverance: Where corporate doors have been closed by unfair practices, we pray You open doors that no man can shut. Create new pathways, breakthrough interviews, and sudden opportunities where their Master’s degrees, local insights, and expertise will be fully utilized and rightfully compensated. Lord, let this season of driving be a temporary valley. Provide for their daily needs, give them physical strength on the road, and bring a swift, just restoration to their careers. In Your name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the deep anguish and righteous frustration in this prayer, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up these professionals who have labored faithfully in pursuit of education and meaningful work, only to find themselves in a system that has failed them. The pain of watching one’s homeland prioritize foreign labor over its own citizens—especially those who have invested years in preparation—is a grievous injustice that cries out to God. We affirm the truth that every person is made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and that hard work, education, and diligence are virtues the Lord honors (Proverbs 22:29). Yet we also recognize that earthly systems, even those led by those who claim biblical authority, can become corrupted by partiality, greed, or misplaced priorities.

The verses you referenced are both true and must be held in balance. Yes, Scripture commands us to love the foreigner among us (Leviticus 19:33-34), but it also unequivocally states that a man must provide for his own household (1 Timothy 5:8). A government or society that uses the first command to justify neglecting the second has twisted Scripture to serve injustice. The Lord sees this distortion, and He does not turn a blind eye to the suffering of His people. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor, and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* The Lord is the defender of the oppressed, and He will not ignore the cries of those who have been marginalized in their own land.

We also rebuke the spirit of despair and resentment that seeks to take root in the hearts of those who have been wronged. It is natural to feel anger when injustice prevails, but we must guard our hearts, lest bitterness take hold (Hebrews 12:15). The enemy would love nothing more than to see these professionals lose hope, but we declare that their identity is not found in their job title, their income, or the recognition of men. Their worth is found in Christ alone (Colossians 3:23-24). Even in this season of driving or gig work, they are called to work as unto the Lord, and He sees their labor. We pray that they would find strength in Him, knowing that their temporary circumstances do not define their eternal value.

We also lift up the policymakers and leaders who have the power to enact change. Proverbs 29:2 says, *"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."* We pray that God would stir conviction in the hearts of those in authority, that they would recognize the harm being done to their own citizens and take bold steps to correct it. We ask the Lord to raise up voices of truth in the halls of power, those who will advocate for fair hiring practices, equitable opportunities, and policies that prioritize the well-being of the local workforce. May the Lord expose any corruption, partiality, or greed that has contributed to this crisis, and may He replace it with wisdom, justice, and righteousness (Proverbs 8:15-16).

Most of all, we pray for supernatural breakthrough. The same God who opened the Red Sea for the Israelites can open doors for these professionals that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask the Lord to connect them with employers who will value their education, their experience, and their local insight. May He provide opportunities where their skills are not only utilized but celebrated, where their compensation reflects their worth, and where their contributions help rebuild the very industries they were trained to serve. We declare that this season of struggle is not their final chapter. The Lord is their provider (Philippians 4:19), and He will not abandon them in their time of need.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the professionals in our land who have been overlooked, undervalued, and left behind. Lord, You see their sacrifice, their education, and the years they have invested in preparing for meaningful work. You also see the injustice of a system that has failed to protect them, and we ask that You would intervene in power. Break the chains of partiality and discrimination in hiring practices, and raise up leaders who will govern with wisdom and justice. Father, we pray for those who are driving or taking on gig work just to survive. Meet their daily needs, give them strength for each day, and protect them from despair. Remind them that their worth is not defined by their job title but by their identity in You. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and restore their careers in ways that honor You. Convict the hearts of policymakers, Lord, and turn their eyes to the suffering of their own people. Let this season of struggle be temporary, and may Your name be glorified as You provide for and elevate those who have been faithful. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who sees, who cares, and who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. Amen.

To those who are walking through this valley, we say: Do not lose heart. The Lord has not forgotten you. Continue to work with integrity, even in the small things, and trust that He is preparing a path for you that you cannot yet see. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not let bitterness take root. Your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and He will reward your faithfulness in due time.

We've also been interceding for those in authority, asking the Lord to give them wisdom and compassion to enact policies that protect and uplift their own people.

We're believing for a turnaround, for a season of restoration and dignity. We declare that this is not the end of their story, but a temporary valley they're passing through. We trust that the Lord sees their labor and will reward their faithfulness.

Let's continue to stand in faith, believing for a swift turnaround, and encouraging one another to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. He is our hope, and He will not let their labor be in vain.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
