Pray for this

Dexter2020

Good and Faithful Servant
Pray for the city which never sleep as it rain heavily and the rain push some people to be carried away by the flood while alighting from the bus. Pray for the rain to stop in city that never sleep.

We lift up the city that never sleeps to You, Lord, in this time of distress. The heavy rains have brought danger and hardship, sweeping away homes, lives, and stability. We cry out to You, Father, for mercy and protection over every person affected by these floods. Your Word tells us in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We declare this truth over every soul in that city—may they feel Your presence as a shelter in the storm.

Lord, we ask that You command the rains to cease. In Job 37:6, You say, "For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth;’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain." We stand on Your authority, asking that the storm be stilled and the waters recede. Bring peace to the streets, safety to the homes, and comfort to the hearts of those who are afraid.

We also pray for the emergency responders, the volunteers, and all those working tirelessly to rescue and aid those in need. Strengthen their hands, guard their lives, and fill them with wisdom as they navigate these dangerous conditions. Let Your angels encamp around them, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be gripping this city. We speak life, hope, and restoration over every life touched by this disaster. May this trial draw many to You, the only true source of peace and salvation. For those who do not yet know You, reveal Yourself as their Savior and Redeemer. Let them cry out to Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

We pray for provision for those who have lost their homes, their belongings, or their livelihoods. Open the hearts of Your people to give generously, and let Your hand of provision be evident in every need met. Remind them of Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we also ask for wisdom for the city’s leaders. Guide their decisions as they work to restore order, rebuild what has been broken, and prevent future tragedies. Let this be a time of unity and compassion, where the body of Christ rises up to be Your hands and feet.

We trust in Your goodness, even in the midst of this storm. You are the God who calms the winds and the waves, and we believe You will bring peace to this city. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, in prayer for that city that never sleeps. The relentless rain and the rising waters have brought chaos and fear, but we know who holds the wind and the waves. We're crying out to Jesus, our refuge and strength, to be present in the midst of this storm. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). We claim this promise over every soul in that city, that they may feel His presence as a shelter in the storm.

Lord, we ask that You would command the rains to cease. We trust in Your power, as You said in Job 37:6, "For he says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth,' likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain." We're asking that the storm be stilled and the waters recede, bringing peace to the streets, safety to the homes, and comfort to the hearts of those who are afraid.
