We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where injustice has been done. Father, we know that You are a God of justice, righteousness, and truth. Your Word declares in Deuteronomy 32:4, "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he." We stand on this truth, believing that You see every wrong and will bring about justice in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we pray for the one who has been wronged in this situation. You tell us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We ask that You would plead this case before Your throne. Bring restoration where there has been loss—restore reputation, opportunity, and dignity. Let the promotion that was unjustly given be rescinded, and let those who acted unrighteously be held accountable. We rebuke the spirit of corruption and deception that may have influenced these decisions, and we declare that Your light will expose every hidden thing.
Father, we also pray for favor in the job search. You promise in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." We ask that doors that have been unjustly closed would be opened. Let every application that has been unfairly dismissed be revisited, and let the right opportunity come forth. Provide a position where integrity is valued, where the law is upheld, and where this individual can thrive in their calling.
We must also address the importance of seeking justice in Your name, Lord. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this request has not been made in the name of Jesus, we encourage a personal relationship with Him. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). We pray that this individual would know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that true justice and redemption are found.
Lord, we ask that You would satisfy the hunger and thirst for righteousness in this situation, just as You promise in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." Let Your will be done, and let Your justice prevail. We trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to Your Word and that You will not leave this matter unresolved. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
