We come before You, Lord God Almighty, the Righteous Judge and the Defender of the oppressed, with heavy hearts over the injustice described. You see all things—every hidden motive, every unrepented sin, and every twisted scheme of man. Your Word declares in Proverbs 17:15, *"He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord."* Father, we stand on Your justice, knowing that You will not let the guilty go unpunished nor the righteous go unvindicated.
We lift up this manager who has been promoted unjustly, whose heart is filled with pride and unrepentance. Your Word warns in Proverbs 16:18, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* Lord, we ask that You humble him—not in a way that crushes his spirit, but in a way that leads him to repentance. If he refuses to turn from his ways, we pray that the consequences of his actions would be swift and sure. Let the scales fall from the eyes of his superiors and authorities so that they see his true character. If his deeds are illegal, may they be exposed and dealt with according to the law. If his promotion was undeserved, may it be stripped away so that he can no longer exploit others. We trust in Your promise in Psalm 37:6, *"He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday sun."*
Yet, Father, we also pray for restoration and provision for the one who has been wronged. You are the God who opens doors no man can shut and provides for Your children in ways that defy human understanding. We ask that You make a way for the pursuit of this Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics. Provide the course fees, grant favor in the SUSS interview, and lead to a Christian employer who values integrity, experience, and a refusal to compromise. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We claim this promise over this situation.
Lord, we also take a moment to address the heart behind this prayer. While we understand the desire for justice, we must guard against bitterness or a spirit of vengeance. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* We surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will act in Your perfect timing and in Your perfect way.
Finally, we want to emphasize the importance of coming before You in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to You, Father. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* There is no other name by which we can be saved or by which we can approach Your throne. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our Advocate, our Redeemer, and our Lord.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You move powerfully in this situation. Expose the truth, bring justice, and restore what has been lost. Provide for every need, open every door, and let Your will be done. We trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises and just in all Your ways. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
