The Lord Himself warns, *"Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel"* (Isaiah 31:1). This is not merely an economic or political issue; it is a spiritual one, where faith in God’s provision is being replaced by faith in man’s schemes.
We rebuke the spirit of compromise that would silence the church’s voice in such matters. Pastors and leaders are called to be watchmen, not passive observers.
