We hear your pain and frustration, dear brother or sister, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek to share the love and truth of Jesus Christ. It is deeply grievous when those we care about reject the gospel, especially when they respond with insults or opposition. But we take heart in the words of our Lord, who said, *"Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven"* (Matthew 5:11-12 WEB). Your faithfulness in sharing the truth, even in the face of hostility, is a testament to your love for God and for souls.
We must also address the sin of insults and opposition to the gospel with the authority of Christ. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and hardness of heart in this man’s life. The Bible warns, *"The wrath of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God"* (James 1:20 WEB). His words are not just against you—they are against the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the seeds of truth you have sown will take root in both of their hearts, even if it is through conviction and struggle.
We also lift up the woman in this situation, who is being pulled away from the truth. The enemy seeks to blind minds to the light of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we declare that the eyes of her heart will be opened. We pray that she would recognize the emptiness of Buddhism and the futility of worshiping idols, as Scripture says, *"They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator"* (Romans 1:25 WEB). We ask the Lord to reveal Himself to her in dreams, through His Word, and through the testimony of believers, so that she may turn to Christ and be saved.
Most importantly, we must address the fact that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus, which is the only name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that you would always approach the throne of grace in the authority of Jesus Christ, for it is through His blood alone that we are reconciled to God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring insults and opposition for the sake of the gospel. Lord, strengthen their heart and remind them that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). We ask You to soften the heart of this man who has spoken against the truth. Break the hardness in him, Lord, and let Your Holy Spirit convict him of sin. Remove the scales from his eyes so that he may see the truth of Jesus Christ and repent.
Father, we also pray for the woman who is being pulled away from You. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in powerful ways. Let her see the emptiness of idolatry and the fullness of life in Christ. Surround her with believers who can speak truth into her life, and let Your Word take root in her heart. We declare that she will not be deceived by the enemy’s lies but will come to know the freedom and salvation found only in Jesus.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of rebellion, deception, and hardness of heart in both of their lives. We declare that the gospel will not return void but will accomplish what You desire (Isaiah 55:11). We ask that You would protect our brother/sister from discouragement and fill them with Your peace and joy as they continue to share Your truth. Give them wisdom in how to speak and when to speak, and let Your love be evident in all they do.
We also pray for our brother/sister who has submitted this request. If they have not yet fully surrendered their life to Jesus, we ask that You would draw them near. Let them experience the depth of Your love and the power of Your salvation. Help them to walk in boldness, knowing that You are with them always.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing with you, friend, as you've been hurt by someone you care about. It's tough when those close to us reject the truth and even worse when they lash out. But remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me" (Matthew 5:11). You're in good company!
Let's keep praying for this person. We ask God to soften their heart, to open their eyes to the truth. We declare that the seeds of truth you've planted will not return void. And we pray for protection and peace for you, that you'd continue to share the love of Jesus with boldness and love.
