Faithful Servant
And the wicked government still partner with the employers right to unfairly discriminate locals while favor foreigners and add workload to the locals without giving wages or more work but does not equal to the fair amount of work or hire as scapegoat to do illegal things. Some even use that it is God will for employers to treat locals unfairly by citing Matthew 20:1-16 to hide their betrayal and justify their sins.

We understand the deep frustration and pain in this request, as injustice and unfair treatment in the workplace are grievous before the Lord. The exploitation of locals while favoring foreigners, overburdening workers without fair compensation, and using Scripture to justify unrighteousness are abominations in God’s sight. Let us first address the misuse of Matthew 20:1-16, for this parable is not about justifying unfair labor practices but about God’s sovereign grace in salvation. The landowner in the parable paid *all* workers what was *agreed upon*—no one was cheated (Matthew 20:13). In contrast, what is described here is *theft*—withholding fair wages and exploiting labor, which the Lord explicitly condemns:

*"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."* (James 5:4, WEB)

*"You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates. In his day you shall give him his wages, neither shall the sun go down on it; for he is poor and sets his heart on it, lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you."* (Deuteronomy 24:14-15, WEB)

The wickedness of those in authority who twist Scripture to justify sin is especially egregious. The Lord detests such deception, for His Word is truth, not a tool for manipulation. *"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"* (Isaiah 5:20, WEB). Those who use God’s name to cover their injustice will face His judgment unless they repent.

We also recognize the broader spiritual battle at play. Governments and employers who act unjustly are often influenced by the "rulers of the darkness of this world" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). But take heart—God is not blind to this oppression. He is a God of justice, and He commands His people to *"learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow."* (Isaiah 1:17, WEB). While we are to submit to governing authorities (Romans 13:1), we are *never* to obey them when they command or practice what contradicts God’s law (Acts 5:29). Injustice must be exposed, not enabled.

Now, let us pray fervently over this situation, asking the Lord to intervene, to convict the hearts of the wicked, and to provide justice and relief for the oppressed.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this cry against the injustice and exploitation that Your people are suffering. You are a God who sees the affliction of Your children, who hears their groans, and who acts on their behalf (Exodus 3:7). Lord, we ask that You expose the wickedness of those in authority who oppress locals, who withhold fair wages, and who use Your holy Word to justify their sin. Let their deceit be brought to light, and let their hearts be convicted by Your Spirit. Break the power of corruption in these workplaces and governments, and raise up godly leaders who will act with integrity and fairness.

Father, we pray for supernatural provision and protection for those who are being exploited. Give them wisdom to navigate these unjust systems, and provide for their needs in ways that only You can (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are their ultimate Provider, not these unrighteous employers. If there are legal or righteous avenues to seek justice, open those doors and guide Your people to walk through them. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let the schemes of the wicked be thwarted.

We also pray for the salvation of those who are perpetrating these injustices. Soften their hearts, Lord, that they may repent and turn to You before it is too late. Let them see the error of their ways and the gravity of misusing Your Word to cover their sins. May they fall on their knees before You in true repentance, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Finally, Lord, we ask for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done in these workplaces and governments. Raise up a standard against injustice, and let Your justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). We trust in You, our righteous Judge and our loving Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, who is our Advocate and our Victory, we pray. Amen.

To the one who shared this request: Stand firm in the Lord, knowing that He sees your struggle and will vindicate you. Do not grow weary in doing what is right, for *"in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Seek godly counsel on how to address this injustice wisely, whether through legal means, exposing the truth, or finding alternative employment if possible. Trust that the Lord will fight for you (Exodus 14:14), and continue to pray without ceasing. If you have not already, surrender this burden fully to Christ, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).

If you are in a position to do so, consider banding together with other believers or like-minded coworkers to address these issues collectively, always acting in love and truth. And remember: *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He will not abandon you.

We're right there with you, friend. It's infuriating to see locals being treated unfairly while foreigners are favored, and even more so when Scripture is twisted to justify these wrongdoings. Let's call it out for what it is - sin. We're not just talking about unfair wages or excessive workloads here, but a blatant disregard for God's commandments. In Leviticus 19:33-34, we're told, "When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt." It's clear that we're to treat all people, regardless of their nationality, with kindness, fairness, and love.

We can't stand idly by while this happens. We need to stand up for justice, as commanded in Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" Let's pray for courage and wisdom for those affected, that they may find the strength to speak out against these injustices. Let's also pray for the hearts of the oppressors to be convicted and changed, that they may turn from their wicked ways.

Let's also remember that our battle is not just against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). So, let's put on the full armor of God and stand firm in our faith. Let's intercede for these situations, trusting that God will fight for us (Exodus 14:14).

And hey, if you can, let's rally together with other believers or like-minded coworkers. There's strength in numbers, and together, we can make a difference. Remember, God is near to those who have a broken heart (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He hears you, and He will not abandon you. Let's trust in Him, and let's keep praying.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
