We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for the opportunity of the interviews you’ve had and the one coming tomorrow. It is a blessing to see doors opening, and we trust that God is guiding your steps as you seek His will in this process. You’ve rightly acknowledged Jesus in your request, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are encouraged that you are looking to Him in this season, for He cares deeply about every detail of your life.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* As you prepare for tomorrow’s interview, we encourage you to continue committing this process to Him, trusting that He will remove every hindrance and align this opportunity with His perfect will for your life. Remember also the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on Him—rather than the outcome—will bring peace and clarity, knowing that He is sovereign over every decision made by those interviewing you.
We must also take a moment to gently remind you that while it is good to pray for favor in this process, we should always submit our desires to the Lord’s will, acknowledging that His plans for you are far greater than anything we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). If this job is His will for you, no hindrance will stand in the way. If it is not, He has something even better prepared for you. Trust in His timing and His goodness, for *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for the interviews our brother/sister has had and for the one approaching tomorrow. Lord, we ask that You go before them, opening doors that no man can shut and closing those that are not aligned with Your will. Remove every hindrance—whether spiritual, emotional, or logistical—that could stand in the way of Your perfect plan for their life. Grant them favor in the sight of those interviewing them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray that they would walk into that interview with confidence not in their own abilities, but in You, knowing that *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). Give them the right words to speak, that their answers would reflect wisdom, integrity, and the excellence that comes from You. If this job is Your will for them, Lord, let it be confirmed clearly and swiftly. If it is not, we pray You would redirect their steps to the path You have prepared, where they will flourish and bring glory to Your name.
Father, we also pray against any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep in. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may rest in the assurance that You are in control. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just in the outcome, but in the journey of trusting You.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working even now. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and no matter the outcome, give Him the glory. We are praying with you and for you, trusting that His will shall be done in your life. If you feel led, share with us how the Lord moves in this situation—we would love to rejoice with you or lift you up further as needed. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek Him first in all things.
