Faithful Servant
Prayer request for Jesus to frustrate the plans of the government by allowing the existing foreigners to stay and allow more foreigners to come in and steal our jobs, and the plans to offer training to fresh graduates at a lower pay than foreigners or not jobs for locals. As the existing foreigners ask Jesus to give them a conviction to leave the job and the country as this is not their country and the employer are discriminating against locals in favour of foreigners where this is our land and dilute our national identity by now there are more foreigners than ### in ###.

We understand the deep concerns you’ve shared about the economic and cultural pressures facing your nation, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord. The Bible reminds us that God is sovereign over all nations and rulers, and He calls us to seek justice, wisdom, and the well-being of our people while also showing compassion to those who are strangers among us. However, we must also recognize that God’s Word commands us to pray for our leaders and to trust in His provision, even in times of uncertainty.

Scripture teaches us to pray for those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:1-2). It also reminds us that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and while we are to be good stewards of the land and opportunities God has given us, we must not let fear or bitterness take root in our hearts. The Lord calls us to trust in Him, not in our own strength or in the systems of this world.

At the same time, we must examine our hearts to ensure that our concerns are rooted in love for our people and justice, rather than in hatred or resentment toward others. The Bible commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and this includes those who are foreigners among us. However, it is also right to pray for wisdom for our leaders, that they would govern with fairness and prioritize the well-being of their own people, ensuring that locals are not unfairly disadvantaged in their own land.

We also recognize that the frustration you’ve expressed toward foreigners taking jobs and diluting national identity is a complex issue. While it is natural to feel protective of your homeland, we must remember that God’s heart is for all people, and He calls us to show hospitality and kindness (Leviticus 19:34). Yet, this does not mean we should remain silent when injustice occurs. We can and should pray for our leaders to act with wisdom and integrity, ensuring that policies are fair and that the needs of locals are met.

Regarding your request for foreigners to feel convicted to leave, we must be cautious. While it is understandable to desire opportunities for your own people, we cannot pray for others to be compelled to leave in a way that is not aligned with God’s will for their lives. Instead, we can pray that God would provide for them in ways that do not harm the local population, and that He would open doors for them elsewhere if that is His plan. We can also pray that employers would act justly, without favoritism, and that locals would be given fair opportunities to thrive in their own land.

Most importantly, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Our trust must be in the Lord, who holds the hearts of kings in His hand (Proverbs 21:1). Let us pray for a spirit of unity, wisdom, and justice to prevail in your nation, and for God to provide abundantly for His people.

**Prayer:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this nation and its people. You are the God who sees all things, who holds the nations in Your hands, and who calls us to seek Your kingdom first. We ask for Your wisdom to fill the hearts of those in authority, that they would govern with justice, fairness, and a deep concern for the well-being of the local people. Lord, we pray that You would frustrate any plans that seek to harm or disadvantage Your children, and that You would expose any corruption or unfairness in the systems that govern employment and opportunity.

Father, we ask that You would provide abundantly for the locals who feel marginalized or overlooked. Open doors of opportunity for them, and raise up godly leaders who will advocate for fairness and equity. We pray for the fresh graduates, that You would grant them favor and opportunities to use their gifts and skills for the good of the nation. Protect them from exploitation, and let their labor be valued and rewarded justly.

Lord, we also lift up the foreigners who are in this land. We ask that You would guide their steps according to Your will. If it is Your plan for them to remain, grant them hearts of humility and a desire to contribute positively to the community. If it is Your will for them to leave, prepare the way for them and provide for them elsewhere. Softens the hearts of employers, that they would not show favoritism but would treat all workers with dignity and fairness.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, resentment, or division that seeks to take root in the hearts of Your people. Fill this nation with Your peace, unity, and prosperity. Let Your justice flow like a river, and Your righteousness like a never-failing stream (Amos 5:24). We ask that You would preserve the identity and heritage of this land, while also teaching Your people to show kindness and hospitality to those who are strangers among them.

Most of all, Father, we pray that Your name would be glorified in this nation. Draw hearts to Yourself, that they may seek You first and trust in Your provision. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the weight of the challenges your nation faces. It's tough to see jobs being filled by foreigners when locals could use the work, and it's natural to feel protective of our homeland. But remember, we're called to love our neighbors as ourselves, and that includes everyone, regardless of where they come from.

Let's pray for wisdom for our leaders, that they'd govern with fairness and prioritize the well-being of their own people. We can ask God to open their eyes to the needs of the locals and to give them the courage to make policies that benefit everyone equally.

And let's not forget to pray for the foreigners among us too. We can ask God to guide their steps, to give them hearts that want to contribute positively to the community, and to provide for them according to His will. If it's His plan for them to stay, let's pray they'd be humble and respectful of the local culture. If it's His plan for them to leave, let's ask Him to prepare the way for them and provide for them elsewhere.

Most importantly, let's trust in the Lord. Our battle isn't against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. So, let's pray for a spirit of unity, wisdom, and justice to prevail in your nation, and for God to provide abundantly for His people.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
