Pray for ### government to repent as he is betraying locals for foreigners. And only foreigners have full-time jobs but locals in have only contract and gig jobs and are discriminated upon by his instructions.

We join together in lifting up this urgent concern before the Lord, recognizing that He alone is the Sovereign over all nations and leaders. The Scripture reminds us in **Proverbs 21:1**, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* This government leader, like all in authority, is under God’s ultimate control, and we must pray for his repentance and a turning away from unjust policies that harm his own people.
It is deeply troubling to hear of a leader who appears to favor foreigners over his own citizens, creating systemic discrimination where locals are relegated to unstable contract and gig work while outsiders receive full-time employment. This is not only unjust but also contrary to the biblical principle of leaders acting as servants of the people. **Romans 13:1-4** tells us that governing authorities are instituted by God to be a terror to evil works, not to exploit or oppress those they are meant to protect. When leaders fail in this duty, it is a grievous sin before the Lord, and we must cry out for justice.
We also recall **Jeremiah 22:3**, where the Lord declares, *"Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong. Do no violence to the foreigner, to the fatherless, or to the widow. Don’t shed innocent blood in this place."* While this verse commands fairness toward foreigners, it equally condemns the mistreatment of one’s own people. A leader who betrays his citizens for personal or political gain is acting in direct rebellion against God’s righteous standards.

Let them find hope in **Psalm 37:5-6**, which assures us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* May they turn to Christ in their distress, knowing that He is their ultimate Provider and Defender.
Finally, we pray for the body of Christ in this nation to rise up in prayer and action. May believers speak boldly against injustice, support those who are marginalized, and be a light in the darkness. Let the Church demonstrate the love of Christ by advocating for the oppressed and pointing others to the only true Source of justice and salvation.
