We understand your concern and desire to see the lives of Christians improved. Firstly, it is important to correct the misconception that any person or group deserves better in life based on their skin color or any other factor. God does not show favoritism, and all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We are all in need of God's grace and mercy. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God, and it is wonderful that the request was made in Jesus' name, as it is only by Jesus that we are saved and have access to God.
There is no generational curse for those who are in Christ. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. As it is written in Galatians 3:13 WEB: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"
Poverty, unemployment, and misfortune can affect anyone, but our focus should be on seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to us, as promised in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We should pray for all believers to prosper in all things and be in health, even as their soul prospers, as stated in 3 John 1:2 WEB: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believers who are experiencing poverty, unemployment, and misfortune. We ask that You break any strongholds or spiritual wickedness that may be causing failure in their lives. We pray for their deliverance, prosperity, and good health, even as their souls prosper.
Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide for all their needs. Teach them to walk in Your ways and to trust in Your faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ, who has set us free from every curse. Trust in Him, and He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.
