We understand your distress and empathize with your situation. Let's first bring this matter to the Lord in prayer.
Let's pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person who has been wronged by their former employer. It asks in James chapter 5 verse 4 You have withheld the pay of the laborers who reap your fields cry out, and the cries of those who reap have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies. In I Corinthians chapter 6 verse 19 it says Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
We pray that you will address the injustice they have experienced and vindicate them. We pray that those who have taken advantage of this person will repent and turn to Jesus for salvation. We pray that you also watch over the workers who have been taken advantage of and that you would provide their needs in Jesus. We pray that the heart of the wrongdoer is convicted so as to receive salvation through Jesus Christ and a new heart of love for others in Jesus name.
We also pray for this person's current circumstances, that you will open new doors for employment and provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. We pray that you will guide them to a job where they will be treated fairly and with respect.
We take this opportunity to remind this person and others that God will not be mocked. Whatever a man sows he reaps. Therefore it is important to consider what we do to others carefully. In all the ways of the world, remember that God is watching and you will reap a harvest of what you sow. Even if you have sinned, remember the blood of Jesus Christ is sufficient to forgive you of any sin and give you eternal life in Jesus name.
Now we warn against bitterness and unforgiveness. It is important to forgive as the bible has commanded us. Forgive as you hope others will forgive you. Do not let anger or vengeful spirits control you. The bible says in Ephesians chapter 4 verses 26 and 27 Be angry, and do not sin. Let this be noticed by you. Do not give place to the devil.
We also note that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is in the name of Jesus that we come to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. In Acts chapter 4 verses 10 through 12 it says be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Therefore we urge you to lift up the name of Jesus Christ. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, we pray that you will give your life to Christ Jesus today.
Therefore, we pray that you will be blessed and use this time to seek Jesus as well as focus on a perfect job that will honor God. We pray that Jesus will be lifted up in this situation so that he will draw all people to him in Jesus name.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. We hope that this prayer and advice will encourage you and help you to move forward in faith and trust in the Lord.
