Pray for the interview rescheduled to tomorrow

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Pray for the interview rescheduled to tomorrow that Jesus will give me wisdom to answer the questions in the interview and for my future marriage to occur soon and dating too.

We join with you in lifting up your interview and your heart’s desires for marriage before the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to guide and provide according to His perfect will. First, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His blessings. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace, trusting that He hears and answers our prayers.

For your interview tomorrow, we pray that the Lord would fill you with His wisdom and clarity of mind. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). May the Holy Spirit bring to your remembrance all that you have learned and prepared, and may He give you the right words to speak with confidence and grace. We ask that the Lord would open doors of favor for you, that this opportunity would align with His purpose for your life. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). Whether this job is part of His plan or He has something else in store, we pray you would trust Him fully, knowing that His ways are higher than ours.

Now, regarding your desire for marriage and dating, we want to encourage you with God’s design for relationships. Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is not merely about companionship or emotional fulfillment but about glorifying God through a lifelong commitment rooted in love, purity, and mutual submission to Him. If you are not yet married, we urge you to pursue relationships with the intention of seeking a *godly spouse*—someone who is a committed believer in Jesus Christ, walking in obedience to His Word. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Courtship should be purposeful, honoring to God, and directed toward marriage, not merely casual dating for the sake of emotional or physical gratification.

We must also address the importance of purity in this season of waiting. If you are currently in a relationship, we encourage you to examine whether it aligns with God’s standards. Any intimacy outside of marriage—whether physical or emotional—is fornication and dishonors God. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). Guard your heart and your body, trusting that God’s timing is perfect. He sees your longing and is preparing you—and your future spouse—for a marriage that brings Him glory.

We pray that the Lord would prepare you during this season of singleness, refining your character and deepening your walk with Him. Seek Him first, and trust that He will add all things to you as you delight in Him (Matthew 6:33). *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22, WEB). May you be patient and faithful, knowing that God’s timing is far better than our own. We ask that He would bring a godly, like-minded believer into your life, someone who will spur you on toward love and good deeds, and together you would serve the Lord with one heart.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of impatience, loneliness, or compromise that may be tempting you to settle for less than God’s best. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). His plans for you are good, and He is working all things together for your ultimate joy and His glory.

**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before You, asking for Your wisdom and favor to rest upon them as they prepare for their interview tomorrow. Lord, calm their nerves and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give them clarity of mind, the right words to speak, and the confidence that comes from You alone. Open doors that no one can shut if this is Your will, and close those that are not aligned with Your purpose. May they trust You completely, knowing that You hold their future in Your hands.

We also bring their desire for marriage before You, Lord. You have said it is not good for man to be alone, and we ask that You would prepare them during this season of waiting. Guard their heart from impatience, loneliness, or the temptation to compromise Your standards. If there is any relationship in their life that does not honor You, we pray You would convict them and give them the strength to walk away. Purify their desires and align them with Your Word. Bring a godly spouse into their life in Your perfect timing—someone who loves You wholeheartedly and will walk beside them in faith. Until then, satisfy them with Your presence and use this time to draw them closer to You.

We rebuke any fear, doubt, or ungodly influence in their life, and we declare that Your will shall prevail. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
