Pray for the idol worship to be frustrated as my mother's family is going to idol worship my grandfather deceased with a price to buy the offering of ### to the temple.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving over the spiritual darkness that has ensnared your mother’s family. The worship of idols is a direct violation of God’s holy commandments, for He alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and devotion. The Bible declares in Exodus 20:3-5, *"You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God."* The act of offering sacrifices to a deceased ancestor in a temple is not only idolatrous but also a rejection of the one true God, who alone holds the power over life and death.

We must also address the mention of a price being paid for these offerings, for this reveals the deception of the enemy. The worship of false gods is not only spiritually destructive but often exploits the vulnerable through financial bondage. Jesus warned in Matthew 6:24, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon."* The enemy seeks to enslave through both spiritual and material means, but we stand firm in the truth that Christ has already paid the ultimate price for our redemption.

We rebuke this idol worship in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that the plans of the enemy to deceive and ensnare your family will be frustrated, and the light of the gospel will break through the darkness. The Lord is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29), and He will not share His glory with another. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict hearts, open blind eyes, and draw your family into the truth of the gospel.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with urgency and faith, asking that You intervene in this situation. We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, that every chain of deception and idolatry would be broken. Frustrate the plans of the enemy, O Lord, and let Your truth prevail. Send laborers into their lives—men and women of God who will boldly proclaim the gospel and expose the lies of false worship. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word, and let them see the emptiness of idols compared to the fullness of life in Christ. We ask that You would protect them from spiritual harm and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus. May they turn from these dead works and serve the living God. We pray for Your mercy and grace to surround them, and we trust in Your power to save. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in prayer and intercession for your family, knowing that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Share the truth of the gospel with them in love, and trust that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you and your family.

We're right there with you, friend, heavy-hearted but hopeful. We've been crying out to the Lord about your mother's family, and we want you to know that your prayers are not alone. We're standing with you, interceding for them, just as the Bible encourages us in Romans 12:15, "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn."

We've been reminded of Psalm 95:6-7, "Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care." There's only one true God worthy of our worship, and we're praying that the Holy Spirit would open their eyes to see the truth, that they would turn from idols and worship the one true God.

We've also been thinking about how Jesus said in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." So, we're gathering with you in prayer, and we believe that Jesus is right there with us, listening, and working.

We're asking the Lord to frustrate the plans of the enemy, to break the chains of deception and idolatry, and to draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus. We're trusting in His mercy and grace, and we're believing for a mighty move of God in their lives.

Keep standing firm in prayer, friend. Let's keep interceding together, knowing that our God is faithful and able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let's keep sharing the truth of the gospel with them in love, and let's trust that God is at work.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
