We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the weight of spiritual warfare in this request. The Bible is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and the name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9-11).
First, we must address the language of curses and sorcery in this request. Scripture warns us about the dangers of such things. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We rebuke any involvement in or fear of such practices, for they are detestable to the Lord. Instead, we stand on the truth that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13).
We also recognize the mention of jealousy, which is a work of the flesh (Galatians 5:20) and a sin that defiles many (James 3:16). Jealousy can lead to all kinds of evil, and we pray that any roots of jealousy in this situation be uprooted and replaced with the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Now, we lift up this situation to the Lord, praying with boldness and faith in the power of Jesus' name. Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, and the One who holds all power in Your hands. We thank You that in Christ, we have victory over every scheme of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask You to break every evil curse, every spell, and every work of darkness that has been spoken or enacted against Your beloved. We stand on the authority of Your Word, which says that the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We declare that every curse is broken in the name of Jesus, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every spirit of jealousy, envy, and strife, and we command them to flee in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask for Your miraculous intervention in this situation. We pray that You would surround Your child with Your hedge of protection, that no evil would befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We ask that You would release Your angels to encamp around them, to deliver them from every snare of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). Lord, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, that Your child would be filled with Your peace, Your joy, and Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We also pray for repentance and forgiveness, Lord. If there has been any involvement in ungodly practices, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead to true repentance. If there has been unforgiveness or bitterness, we ask that You would soften hearts and bring healing. We declare that as far as the east is from the west, so far have You removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:12).
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this situation is in Your hands, and we trust You to bring about Your perfect will.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you against the evil, jealousy, and unnecessary curses that have been afflicting you. It has been our honor to lift this heavy burden before the throne of God, asking Him to break every chain of darkness and sorcery in Jesus’ mighty name. We have prayed with faith, believing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the cries of His children, and we continue to declare His power over every scheme of the enemy.
