Pray for Strength and Peace

We hear your heart and we join with you together before the Father in Jesus' name, asking for His strength and peace to carry you through each day and for His power to be made known in your family.
We know the pain of being separated from your daughter since September is heavy, and the Lord sees your sorrow. He is near to those with a broken heart. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 46:1 reminds us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We pray that you will feel His nearness today, not just tomorrow, but moment by moment.
You asked for prayer for Satan to leave you and your ex-wife and family. We stand with you against the enemy's work, and we know Scripture teaches us about this battle. Ephesians 6:12 says our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy families, to sow division, bitterness, and isolation. But James 4:7 tells us to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. And 1 Peter 5:8-9 calls us to be sober and self-controlled, because our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, whom we are to withstand steadfast in our faith. Our authority is not in our own words alone, but in submission to God through Jesus Christ. So we pray not only for the enemy to flee, but for you and your family to be drawn closer to Christ, where the enemy has no place.
We also want to gently encourage you in this season regarding your ex-wife and daughter. While your marriage has ended, God still calls us to pursue peace, forgiveness, and love, especially for the sake of children who are a gift from Him. Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. We pray for your daughter's heart to be protected and for her to know your love for her, and we pray for your ex-wife as well, that God would soften hearts, heal wounds, and lead you both toward forgiveness and godly co-parenting that honors Him. Ephesians 4:32 says And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. If there is any bitterness or anger, we encourage you to release it to the Lord, not to excuse any wrong, but to be free from its weight. And we encourage you to continue to pursue every right and lawful and loving means to remain a faithful father in your daughter's life, seeking wise counsel from godly and legal advisors as needed, and always reflecting Christ's patience and love.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to God and find true peace and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought into relationship with God. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon His name, confess your need for Him, and trust Him as Lord and Savior. That is where lasting strength and peace are found.
Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
So together we pray.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear brother to You. Lord, You see his loneliness and his longing for his daughter, and You know the pain of these months since September. We ask You to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon him and to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give him strength for today and hope for tomorrow, for Your loving kindnesses never fail and Your compassions are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23. We resist the enemy on his behalf and ask that Satan's schemes to divide and discourage this family would be broken. Help this brother to submit himself fully to You, to walk in Your Word and Your Spirit, so the enemy must flee. We pray for his ex-wife and for his daughter, Lord. Protect that little girl, surround her with Your love, and keep her heart tender toward her father. Soften hearts, heal past hurts, and make a way where it seems there is no way for restoration of a loving father and daughter relationship according to Your will. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven him, to act with grace and perseverance, and to trust Your timing. Draw each member of this family to Yourself through Jesus, that they may know salvation and true peace. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our strength, amen.

Your burden has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you, for the separation of a family is a painful sorrow and the Lord knows the ache of a father kept from his child since September.
You have asked for strength and for peace to make it through another day, and the Scriptures show us where both are to be found. Human strength in any form will spend itself in due time, for all strength apart from God is derived strength and must come to an end. But the promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and to them that have no might He increases strength. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind, then you may fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it, for the Lord Himself has said, I will strengthen them. The glory of our strength lies not in ourselves but in God alone, who is the Author of all being and the giver of every good gift.
And with strength He gives peace. The Lord will give strength unto His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace. This is not the false peace of the strong man armed who keeps his palace and thinks his goods are in peace while sin still reigns, but the true peace which is a blessing and brings no sorrow with it. It is peace through the blood which has made a full atonement, the peace which Christ has left us, not as the world gives. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. That perfect peace may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round and with loved ones far away, for in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they are safe. When you feel that you have something to do that is beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more faith and more strength, and then in the name of Him that will surely bear you over it, take your step and trust Him to sustain you.

O God of all peace and Father of mercies, we come through the blood of Jesus Christ, our only peace and our only hope of salvation, and we ask Thee to look upon this weary father. Thou givest power to the faint, therefore give him strength for this day and for the days to come. Renew his strength as he waits upon Thee, and keep his mind stayed upon Thee that he may know that perfect peace which passeth understanding, even while his heart is pressed by duties and sorrows.
We pray against the power of the evil one, that Satan would have no dominion in this family. Where the strong man has kept his palace, do Thou, who art stronger, overcome him and cast him out, and let Christ dwell and reign there. Have mercy upon his former wife and upon his daughter whom he has not seen these many months. Keep that little child in Thy gracious keeping, watch over her where earthly eyes cannot, and let no harm come to her soul or body. Soften hearts where there is hardness, bring repentance where there is sin, and grant wisdom and grace to all who have part in this painful separation, that what is done may be done in righteousness and in love for the child.
Teach this father to wait upon Thee, to trust not in his own strength but in Thine, to find his rest in doing Thy will day by day. Let him know that Thou still lovest Thy child even in his affliction, and that Thy peace is his present possession through Jesus Christ who bought it with His blood. Sustain him, comfort him, and lead him in paths of holiness and patience, and if it be Thy will, open a way for him to see and to care for his daughter again according to Thy good providence.
We ask this not for our merit but for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has vanquished death and all its powers and who is our peace. Amen.
