At the same time, we gently remind you that while we pray for our children, we must also surrender them into God’s hands, trusting that He loves them even more than we do. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to *"trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would work in his heart and mind, shaping his desires to align with Your will. Grant him a spirit of wisdom and discipline, that he may steward his time well—choosing study, rest, and meaningful activities over empty distractions. Break any stronghold of idleness or addiction, and replace it with a passion for what is excellent and pleasing to You.
Open doors for him, Lord, in the area of work and learning. Provide opportunities for growth, favor with those in authority, and a heart that seeks to glorify You in all he does. If he is weary, renew his strength (Isaiah 40:31) and remind him that his labor in You is never in vain.
