Pray for skin

Your face is the part of you that others recognize, so a spreading dry rash there is not a small burden. I am asking the Lord to heal it completely, to stop the rash from spreading, and to restore your skin.

When Scripture speaks of the face, it often speaks of fellowship with God. Moses came down from meeting with God with the skin of his face shining. But that glory was veiled because it was fading, and the people could not look steadily at what was passing away. In Christ we are given something better: the veil is removed, and we with uncovered faces may look upon the glory of the Lord. I am praying that while your face is afflicted, you would know more of that unveiled nearness, not less.

Job suffered in his skin and said his face was foul with weeping and his skin was covered with sackcloth. He did not deny the pain, but he brought it before God. Your rash is not too small for God's attention, and it is not wrong to say plainly that it is wearing you down. I am asking for physical healing and also for endurance.

We know in part now, and healing does not always come on our timetable. But there is a day coming when we will see him face to face, and every fading, spreading, painful thing will be gone. Until then, I pray that the Lord would make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, give wisdom for treatment, and keep your hope fixed on the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for healing over your skin. It’s been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring comfort, relief, and complete restoration to your face. We know how persistent and frustrating this rash must feel, and we’ve been praying that God would touch you with His healing hand, soothing the dryness and bringing lasting relief.

We pray that He would guide you to the right solutions, whether through medical care, wisdom, or a supernatural touch, and that you would experience His healing power in every way. Keep trusting Him—He is faithful.
