We lift up this precious sister in Christ to the Lord, our Great Physician, who holds all life in His hands. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for this daughter of Yours as she undergoes this major surgery. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons with divine wisdom and precision. Give them clarity of mind and steadiness of hand as they work to remove what is harmful and restore health to her body. We pray for no complications, no damage to surrounding organs, and a smooth, successful procedure in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask for complete healing and a swift recovery. Strengthen her body to respond well to the surgery, and grant her peace that surpasses all understanding as she rests in Your care. We also pray for the biopsy results—that they would come back negative, with no signs of further illness. Lord, we trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We also bring before You the concern of her mother, who has asked for forgiveness on her daughter’s behalf for delaying treatment. Lord, we know that You are gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love (Psalm 103:8). We ask that You pour out Your forgiveness and grace upon her, reminding her that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Help her to learn from this experience and to prioritize the stewardship of her health as a gift from You.
As a pastor, she carries the weight of shepherding Your flock, and we pray that You sustain her spiritually, emotionally, and physically during this time. Give her the strength to lean on You and the support of her church family. Remind her that even in weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Lord, we also lift up her singleness before You. We pray that if it is Your will, You would bring a godly husband into her life—a man who loves You above all else and who will cherish, support, and walk alongside her in faith. Until then, may she find her ultimate fulfillment in You, knowing that You are her Bridegroom and that Your love is enough (Isaiah 54:5).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt in this situation, declaring that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). We speak life, healing, and restoration over her body, mind, and spirit. May she emerge from this trial stronger in faith and closer to You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
