We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your husband and this prayer for his confidence. Father God, we know that true confidence does not come from self-reliance or pride, but from trusting in You and the gifts You have given. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." We pray that your husband would root his confidence in this truth, knowing that his strength and abilities come from You alone.
Lord, we ask that You rebuild his confidence in a way that reflects Your glory. Help him to see himself as You see him, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), equipped with the talents and gifts You have purposefully given him. Protect his heart from arrogance, but also from insecurity and self-doubt. Let him walk in the assurance of Your love and purpose for his life, as it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We also thank You for the beautiful marriage You have blessed them with. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by You to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray that their relationship would continue to grow in love, trust, and mutual respect, honoring You in all things. Thank You for saving them both and for the work You are doing in their lives.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or inadequacy that may be trying to take hold of your husband. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37) and that his confidence will be restored in a way that brings You honor. Strengthen him, Lord, and let him walk in the fullness of who You created him to be.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
