So I been saved. And at times I feel like I want a boyfriend, but I want one that serves God! And at times there's this guy that tries to sweettalk me and I know there's nothing better than having a relationship when a couple serves God!!

I don't want to feel lonely.. plus there's this guy at church who likes me and I like him too.. but he said that we need to put God first and if it's God's will for us to court or however you spell it then it'll be, but we have to be patient and put God above all. Please pray for me for strength, patience, and to keep putting God first!! I don't want to fall into temptation! I really like this guy from church. But God is first! Any woman/man who has been through a situation like this please msg me and let me know what prayer I can do? Thank you God bless you

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. I have heard a speaker on Focus on the Family (Christian radio show) --she supports youth and young adults in dating and relationships at Boundless.org | A Website for Christian Singles and Young Adults .

I'm older than the group she is targeting but have found her advice quite helpful and sound.

God gives us choices in whom we choose as a spouse. If you are both Christians and are interested in one another, then you should date.
