Pray for ### please

We hear your heartache and desperation, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting up your son in prayer. The weight of watching a child struggle with mental health is heavy, and we stand with you in this battle, trusting that God sees your pain and hears your cries. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this, and we believe God is working even when the path forward feels unclear.

Father God, we come before You with humble and burdened hearts, lifting up this mother and her son to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would wrap Your arms of comfort around this family, giving them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for Your divine intervention in this young man’s life—bring clarity to his mind, calm to his spirit, and hope to his soul. Lord, we ask that You would guide them to the right resources, the right people, and the right help. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide wisdom for every decision they face.

We also pray for strength for this mother. The enemy would love to see her defeated, but we rebuke that spirit of despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that she is not forsaken, and that God’s grace is sufficient for her (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lord, remind her daily that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give her the endurance to keep fighting for her son, even when the road is long and weary.

We must also speak truth into this situation with love. Mental health struggles are real, and we do not dismiss them, but we must also recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or oppression that may be at work in this young man’s life. We command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We pray that this family would stand firm in their faith, putting on the full armor of God so that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

If this son has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him near. There is no healing, no peace, and no true hope outside of a relationship with Christ. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in powerful ways—through dreams, through Your Word, through godly influences, and through the love of his family. Lord, break every chain that binds him, and set him free by the power of Your blood (Galatians 5:1).

To this mother, we say: do not lose heart. The battle is not yours alone; it belongs to the Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking God’s face. Surround yourself with believers who can support and encourage you. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*

We declare healing, restoration, and breakthrough over this family in Jesus’ mighty name. May God’s peace guard their hearts and minds, and may His light shine brightly in the midst of this darkness. We trust that God is working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we will continue to stand in faith with you. Amen.
