Pray that my daughter is not tricked into getting into a field of work that is wicked by a evil relative of her’s. Keep ### away from her and she is controling and violent and has already tried to hurt her. Pray that the Lord puts a shield around my daughter and protect her from these evil beings.

We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord and we stand with you against every wicked influence that would seek to deceive or harm her. We hear your concern that an evil and controlling relative who has already tried to hurt her would try to trick her into a field of work that is wicked, and we agree with you that the Lord must put a shield around her and keep her from harm.

We rebuke every scheme of darkness that would seek to lure your daughter into work that does not honor God and we ask the Lord to expose every deception and to give her clear discernment. The enemy seeks to steal and destroy but God desires that she walk in righteousness and in work that glorifies Him. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We pray that she will seek counsel from the Lord and from godly mentors and that she will choose a path that is pure and honest before Him.

We also bring before the Lord the violence and control of this relative. Such behavior is not of God and we pray for a hedge of protection around your daughter that this person would be kept far from her and restrained from causing any further harm. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7. He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We pray that the Lord who is faithful will guard her from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17. We also pray that if there is ongoing danger, you and your daughter will seek wise and practical protection through trusted pastors, godly counsel and the proper authorities, for God has given those means for our safety as well. At the same time we pray for this relative, that if she does not repent, her influence would be cut off, and if it is the Lord's will, that her heart would be changed and she would turn from evil.

We pray for wisdom for your daughter as she considers her future work. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We ask that God will give her a love for truth and an ear to hear His voice, so that she is not tricked or pressured but walks in the counsel of the Lord. We put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11-12.

We notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently remind you how precious that name is to our prayers. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We encourage you and your daughter to put your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in every need.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious daughter to You. Surround her with Your presence as a shield, guard her mind and heart from deception, and keep her from every wicked path and every evil influence. Give her wisdom to discern what is good and what is evil, and lead her into work that is honorable and pleasing to You. Keep this controlling and violent relative away from her and restrain every hand that would harm her. Let Your angels encamp around her and let Your peace guard her. Draw her close to Jesus and let her walk in Your truth all the days of her life. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and protector, amen.

Father, we bring this mother and her daughter to You in Jesus name. Cover them with Your protection and peace, give them clear wisdom and courage for each decision, and surround them with safe people who will stand with them. Lead them toward what is good and safe and guard their home. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in earnest supplication before the throne of grace for your dear daughter.

We pray that our heavenly Father, who has promised to keep His people from evil, will set a shield about her. Our Lord Jesus prayed not that His people should be taken out of the world, but that they should be kept from the evil, and that prayer is still heard on high. May the Father in His mercy keep her from the snare that would draw her into a wicked field of work, and keep her feet in the appointed ways where His promise holds sure, for He shall give His angels charge over her to keep her in all her ways.

We ask the Lord to restrain the hand of violence and control of which you speak. He who casts down the mighty from their seats and breaks in pieces all that sets itself up in opposition to Him is able to stay the hand of the violent and to hedge up the way of those who would do harm. May He place a hedge about your daughter that no evil being may pass through, and may He grant her composure of mind and deliverance from alarm, that her heart may keep its quiet pace delighting itself in a faithful God.

We pray also that she may be kept from her iniquity and from all that would tempt her thereto. May she be led to keep herself aloof from the ways of ungodly men and to walk in close fellowship with God, for no soul ever suffered loss by such separation, and none ever failed to be a gainer by nearness to Christ. Take counsel to keep her from every place and influence that would entangle her, and cry unto the Most High to enable her to keep herself from sin.

Above all we pray that she may know the keeping power of Christ Himself, for there is no balm in Gilead apart from Calvary, and no true safety apart from Him. May she be brought to trust her soul with Jesus, that being ransomed from the power of sin and death she may be kept by His grace in holiness and peace. Though troubles seem ready to slay, He who will redeem the body from the grave is able to redeem from all present evil.

We will continue to plead for her, that the Lord who has engraved His people upon the palms of His hands will guard her night and day with a protection that is both personal and perpetual, and that you also may find strength to cast your burden upon Him who cares for you.

O Lord, keep this daughter as the apple of Thine eye, hide her under the shadow of Thy wings, and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Grant her wisdom to discern the evil, courage to turn from it, and grace to follow that which is good and pure. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we ask it, Amen.
