We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your son is facing with ADHD, and we are here to pray and offer guidance together. Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a purpose and plan for each of us, and He cares deeply for your son. The Bible tells us in Matthew 17:20 (WEB), "Jesus said to them, 'It is because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.'"
While we pray for your son's healing, we also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical advice. Proverbs 1:5 (WEB) reminds us, "A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain to wise counsels." It is good to take actions to help your son manage his symptoms and learn strategies to cope with ADHD, as long as those actions align with His will.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear child to You. Lord as the Great Physician, we ask for Your healing touch upon him. Help him to overcome the challenges of ADHD, and grant him the gift of concentration and focus. Father fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and help him to grow in wisdom and stature, just as Jesus did. Guide the parents and those who care for him, granting them the wisdom to make the right decisions for his well-being, always aligning with Your will. Lord, we know you love this child and have a plan for his life, that he may live abundantly for You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. It is only by Jesus or nothing else that we can approach God and only through Jesus we can be saved. There is no other name under Heaven by which we can be saved.
Moreover, it is important to know that God loves your son dearly and has created him uniquely. Psalm 139:14 (WEB) says, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Encourage your son in this truth, and help him to understand that God has a special purpose for his life. Your son may have challenges yet also God can help and use him mightily for His kingdom.
We are standing with you in prayer, trusting that God will work mightily in your son's life. Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful and this is our prayer together for you and your son.
