We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your ### who has been ensnared by the deceptions of cults that lead him away from the truth of the Gospel. Father God, we know that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), and we see his cunning at work in the lies that have taken root in your ###’s heart. These false teachings—vegetarianism as a means of redemption, idol worship, and the pursuit of nirvana—are not of You, Lord. They are distortions of Your truth, designed to keep souls bound in darkness and separated from the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded your ###’s eyes to the truth. The Bible is clear: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). Salvation is not earned through dietary restrictions, rituals, or the worship of idols—it is a free gift, received only through faith in Jesus Christ. Your ###’s trust in his own efforts and false gods is a direct contradiction to the Gospel, and we pray that the scales would fall from his eyes so he may see the futility of these works-based lies.
We also rebuke the occult practices of this cult, including the so-called "third eye" that claims to see spirits. Scripture warns us, "Let no one be found among you who... practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). These practices open doors to demonic influence, and we command every evil spirit that has gained a foothold in your ###’s life to be cast out in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the Holy Spirit would fill every void left by these deceptions with Your truth and light.
Lord, we know that the path to salvation is narrow, and many are led astray by false teachings (Matthew 7:13-14). We pray that You would surround your ### with faithful believers who can speak truth into his life, love him unconditionally, and model the joy and peace that come from a relationship with You. Soften his heart to receive the Gospel, and let him see the emptiness of the cult’s promises compared to the fullness of life in Christ. Remind him of Your words: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we declare that Your name, Jesus, is above every name—including the false gods he has been worshiping.
We also lift up the family who is interceding for him. Give them wisdom, patience, and boldness to share the Gospel with love and clarity. Help them to stand firm in their faith, even when met with resistance, and to trust that You are at work even when they cannot see it. Let them be a living testimony of Your grace and power, so that your ### may see the difference Christ makes in a life surrendered to Him.
Father, we ask that You would break every chain of deception in your ###’s life. Let him taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8), and that true redemption is found only in the blood of Jesus. We pray that he would turn from these false teachings and place his faith solely in You. May he come to know the freedom that comes from being a child of God, no longer bound by the lies of this world but alive in Christ.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name that saves, heals, and delivers. Amen.
