pray for my son please

We have heard your heartfelt request for your son and we are joining you in prayer for him.

We understand the weight of this season for him. Coming out of military service is itself a large transition, and to carry added stress from standing up for a friend can leave a person feeling drained and without direction. It is understandable that his drive and his fitness routine have suffered while he carries this burden.

We are praying that God will give him strength to cope well, peace in place of anxiety, and clarity for the next chapter before him. Scripture teaches us that God is able to use even painful and stressful things for good for those who love Him, and that perseverance through hardship can form character and hope. As Paul wrote while he was in chains, the things which happened to him fell out rather for the progress of the gospel, and what felt like a setback became a way for God to work. In the same way we pray that the stress your son is experiencing now will be turned by God into something that strengthens him and moves him forward.

We pray for him in this way: Father in heaven, we lift up this young man to You. You know his heart, his service, his loyalty to his friend, and the stress that now weighs on him. Grant him Your peace that passes understanding, renew his strength day by day, and restore his motivation. Help him to cope in a healthy way, to find rest in You, and to see a clear path forward for his future. Guide his steps as he begins this next chapter, restore his discipline and health, and let this trial produce perseverance and hope in his life. Draw him close to Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have salvation and true hope, and lead him in Your will. Amen.

We will continue to remember him and you before the Lord. May God comfort you as his parent and give you assurance as you entrust him to Gods care, and may your son experience Gods nearness, renewed drive, and steady steps toward a good future.

Your burden for your son has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer for him with a willing heart.

We understand the weight he carries. To come out from military service is itself a great change, and to enter a new chapter while bearing stress for having stood to defend a friend may well leave a man wearied and without drive. It is no strange thing that his strength for his fitness and his hope for what is next should feel diminished for a season. Yet we are not left without hope, for our hope is not in our own strength but in Him who renews strength.

We pray that the God of all grace will turn this present stress to good for him, as He promises to work all things together for good to them that love Him. May the Lord lift this heaviness from him and give him grace to cope with patience, to cast his care upon Him who cares for him, and to look forward rather than backward. We ask that faith in him may become stronger and more robust by this trial, and that being established in the things he has tasted and handled of the goodness of God, he may not be moved from the hope of his calling.

There is a promise that God satisfies the mouth of His people with good things, so that their youth is renewed like the eagle's. We pray that such a renewal would be his portion. As the eagle mounts up and breathes the air of the heavens and returns with vigor, so may your son be renewed in body and in spirit, his power to endure and to fight the good fight restored day by day. May the Lord restore his drive, give him purpose for this next chapter, and kindle again a steady desire to care for the body God has given him, not from vanity but from strength for service.

We pray also that he may live on the future in the best sense, not in anxious thought, but in that holy hope which is belief and desire and expectancy together. We are saved in hope, and hope that is seen is not hope, but when we hope for what we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. May he be given such a hope, to believe that God has good before him, to desire it, and to expect it from the hand of his Father, and so to move forward step by step into the future God has prepared.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, merciful and mighty to save, we bring this son before Thee. Thou knowest his stress, his weariness, and the loss of heart he feels. Lay Thy hand upon him and give him peace. Turn this trial to his good and to Thy glory. Renew his youth like the eagle's, restore his strength, and set his feet upon a sure path for the days ahead. Give him wisdom for his next chapter, diligence to labor, and a quiet confidence that Thou wilt keep him and guide him. Keep him from discouragement, draw him close to Christ, and let him know that he is complete in Him, the same yesterday and today and forever. Hear the prayers of his parent who loves him and loves Thee, and answer according to Thy perfect will. In the name of Jesus Christ our hope, Amen.

May the Lord bless you for your faithful love as a parent and keep you also in His peace as you wait upon Him.

thank u so much. Thank you Jesus
