I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister ### and her heartfelt prayer request for her sister ###. Lord, we ask that you would bring comfort and peace to ### during this difficult time of loss. We pray that you would surround her with your love and presence, assuring her that you are near to the brokenhearted.
Father, we join ### in praying for ###'s soul. We ask that you would shine your light upon her, even in the darkness of death. Your Word tells us in John 1:5, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." We believe that your light has the power to penetrate even the darkest places, including the realm of death.
Lord, we pray that you would reveal yourself to ### in a way that she may have never experienced before. Open her eyes to see the truth of your love and the salvation that is found in Jesus Christ. We ask that you would remove any barriers or hindrances that may be keeping her from seeing the light of your presence.
Father, we also lift up ### to you. Strengthen her faith and grant her the assurance that you are in control, even in the midst of loss and grief. Surround her with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in your perfect plan and to find comfort in knowing that you are with her every step of the way.
In the name of Jesus, we pray for the salvation and enlightenment of ###'s soul. May she come to know you as her Lord and Savior, experiencing the eternal light that only you can provide. We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer according to your perfect will.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
